"Do it..."

I sat down in the center of the floor in the study while Stiles began to set up the record player. The old record was filled with dust and suffered a few scratches. The scratches seemed kinda new though, I believe they were from Lydia when she kept playing the record over and over, trying to see if she could get something from it.

I turned to Malia, "Do what?"

"Do your thing." She answered, pointing at the record player.

"What thing?" I said loudly. "There's a lot of things."

"The thing you did with the radio speakers. Y'know when you saw Lorraine?" She said with a shrug.

"You guys want me to try the retrocognition thing again?" I inquired, looking over to Stiles for his approval.

"Didn't I just say that?" Malia snapped.

Stiles moved towards me, "You don't have to do it if makes you uncomfortable." He assured. "I'm sure there's another way, there's gotta be something..."

"I can do it." I said.

"Are you sure, though?" Stiles stated while leaning down on the floor near me. By the sound of his voice, I could tell he was a little scared but he was deep into protective mode. "I know you wanna do everything you can to help, but please don't force yourself if it's too much. And I know this is gonna sound totally selfish but right now I don't care because I'll always pick you first."

"I'm sure..." I said as I held his hand and gave him a tight lipped smile.

Stiles nodded slowly and smiled back at me. The good burning feeling I experienced in chest at the hospital came back. I believe this was us having another moment. It was corny but completely bearable, I adored every second of it. So did he.

"Enough with the mating calls—Just do your thing!" Malia shouted.

🌙

"Patient has been non-responsive for several weeks. No sign of physical trauma, no response to external stimuli. Our feeling is the damage is primarily psychological."

Much the same as when I heard Lorraine, my eyes snapped open once my hearing got the man's voice. I was just tuning in to the sound of the stereo for a couple of moments. Which clearly implied my rectrocognition thing is having some turn of events, it appeared work quicker. I was currently standing an emergency clinic room loaded up with patients on beds. Two specialists were standing over bandaged  man, it seemed as though he was seriously scorched or something. I ventured nearer to get a closer look at this face. Two specialists were remaining over Meredith. Her body and face was totally still it resembled she was mental or something. They chose to move over towards a resting swathed man, it seemed as though he was seriously scorched or something. I ventured nearer to improve see his face.
