CHAPTER NINETEEN

You're better than this.

"I made pancakes, sis. Eat when you're done," my brother said, checking on me while I'm doing my major plate in Design 2.

'Yong major plate namin sa Design 2, Avenue Mall with floorplan on site, design overview, and perspective. Sa A3 paper siya required ilagay. And here I am, spending my whole weekend doing this thing.

Bale dalawang linggong hirap at walang tulugan pa.

Inuulan kami ngayon ng plates, sobra. Within one week, nasa fifteen plates ang tinatapos namin.

"How's Ressler?" I asked my brother, taking a bite on my pancake. He poured himself a pineapple juice and sat across me.

"I think he's doing fine. The last time I talked to him, he was busy on his new project. May itatayong bagong hotel and casino sa Jacvil City, and he was part of the planning team. Ang alam ko nagtatrabaho na siya sa firm ng Daddy niya," he said.

I nodded. "Good for him."

It's better for him to be loaded by a lot of projects at work than to be a real sh*t alcoholic.

"So, you're still dating Zild Morris?" He pointed his fork to me. What the hell?

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah."

"Mmm, you're dating him for seven months already. Don't you miss following Ressler around?"

"Seriously, Kuya? A little respect for my boyfriend," I hissed.

He chuckled. "You do have a boyfriend but you love someone else. Isn't it unfair for Zild Morris?"

I glared at him. "Shut up, will you?"

"Oh come on. It's odd that you've been dating Zild Morris for seven months and you still have no feelings for him."

"I like him, okay? Now will you stop talking?"

"Mmm, okay. Just reminding you that Ressler is single, and I know you still have feelings for him."

I rolled my eyes as he laughed his ass out. What a shitty morning.

"Okay na swatches mo? Kumpleto mo na?" Brook asked me, waving her swatches on my face.

I glared at her. "Nakakahilo ka, maupo ka nga. Kulang pa swatches ko," I said, letting out a frustrated groan.

"You're the best!"

Pahirapan kasi maghanap ng swatches for Architectural Interior Design.

She's really good though.

We submitted our final plate in THEA and may mga kaklase kami na na-late ng isang minuto pero hindi na tinanggap 'yong mga gawa nila. Gano'n kahigpit sa oras si Ma'am Yna, that's why I like her.

I parked my car in front of Ze Za. It's a famous store of art materials.

I was about to get inside the car, but I froze when I saw Ressler coming out from the coffee shop with a girl. She's blonde, and she has the perfect figure for a sexy woman.

She pulled Ressler on the side, leaning on his car and they started kissing.

Wait. They're not just simply kissing! They're making out!

I scoffed after witnessing that piece of crap. What the hell is wrong with Ressler? He wasn't like that. I mean, hello? Nasa public place sila.

Sa kalagitnaan ng make out nila, some girl with a black short hair interrupted them.

"You f*cking asshole!" she shouted and slapped Ressler hard on his face. Napatakip ako ng bibig. "You said I'm the only one!" she added and started crying in front of so many people.

Ressler clenched his jaw and scoffed. "I told you I'm done playing with you. Why are you making a big deal out of it? Wait, what's your name again? Clara? Sarrah? Anna? Hanna?"

"I'm Danna! You piece of sh*t!" she said and walked out.

"Who was that?" the blonde girl asked Ressler with disbelief.

"I don't even remember her," Ressler scoffed. "Come on, let's continue our thing," he added, flashing her a playful smile.

"You know what? F*ck you," the girl with the blonde hair said and then she left.

I pressed my lips together and sighed. Lumapit ako kay Ressler.

"Really, Ressler? You're better than this," I said with disappointment all over my face.

He raised his brow. "Oh here's the little sister of Kylo," he scoffed.

"Go home," he added, coldness was all I can feel and hear in his voice before he got inside his car.
