Im Coming Home...

Aryanna's POV

I woke up early the next morning to ride Marshmallow one last time before we left. I forgot how amazing it felt to have the wind on my face and hear the hooves of the horse hitting the ground. After our long ride I took her back to the stable and loved on her. Then I headed back inside to shower and pack. I tossed on some sweats and started packing. "Hey! You almost done?" Nevada asked walking into the room. "Hey! And yeah." I said. Nevada has been with her parents all week. I zipped up my suitcase and looked around the room to make sure that I had everything before walking down the stairs and putting my bag by the door. Abulita made us breakfast, we all sat down to eat. My brothers and sisters came over and we were sitting in the living room watching old home videos and looking through scrapbooks. "Oh Aryanna, honey, that was when you first got Marshmallow." Mama said. I smiled remembering that day.

Flashback...

I was about 7 years old and I came back to spend the summer with my grandparents. I had just finished helping my grandmother clean up the kitchen from lunch. And I was walking out to the garden to my grandfather who told me he had a surprise for me. "Sofu I'm done." I said. "Go into the barn your surprise is there." He said. Luckily my grandad spoke English because at the time It was hard understanding my mom and grandma sometimes. I walked across the field and opened the big red doors to see a small dark brown horse. "It's all yours, she's a sweet girl." My Sofu said. "What do you want to name her?" My brother Aiden asked. "Ummm Marshmallow." I said. "Marshmallow? That's stupid." Aiden said. "Shut up!" I said. I knew right then that Marshmallow and I would be best friends for ever.

Flashback over...

We sat around and talked and stuff until it was time for us to leave for the airport. I hugged my aunt and siblings goodbye since Abulita and Sofu were driving us there. Papi walked through the back door. And it suddenly got quite as if everyone was waiting for either one of us to say a word. I walked up to him and hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry." We would said. "If you want to meet him, then the next time your in Brooklyn you can. I was wrong for disrespecting you." I told him. "It's ok. I love you." He told me. "I love you too papi." I said then pulled away from the hug. John and my dad did a bro hug thingy or whatever then we got into the car and left for the airport.

After saying our goodbyes to my grandparents we were on the plane getting ready to head back home.

Goodbye Kentucky.. Hello Brooklyn.. Again..
