"I don't want to see you come in here again." The guard walking me out said.
"Trust me, you won't." I said. I just got released! They said Joann dropped the charges! Maybe she found her heart or maybe she just gave up. Either way I was getting the hell out of here! I walked through the double doors leading to the main lobby where I saw the crew and Justin's dad. I ran to them all getting smushed into a group hug. "I'm sure you're hungry so let's go and get something." Mr. Combs said. We left and all went to Fridays. I told them everything that happened while I was inside. Three days in jail with another woman or whatever that tries to constantly make you her bitch will change you. I'm done fighting with Joann. I'm just worried about graduating, getting into a good college, sports, my friends and my family.
"Why do y'all think she dropped the charges." I asked dipping my fries into the ranch on Nevada's plate. "Who knows." Justin quickly ended the subject before I even really opened it. He looked suspicious and uneasy but I wasn't about to ask him why.
Later I was dropped off at home and my mama and I had a longgg talk. She told me if I get into trouble one more time she's sending me to Cali with my dad. Lord knows I'm not trying to go there right now so I gotta get my shit together. I'm putting in some job applications and a few more college ones. I think I maybe want to get a job as a coach for gymnastics or a cheer at a gym somewhere. But who knows, I just know that've I have got to get my life together.
After my talk with my mom I went upstairs to take a long hot shower. After I got out I lotioned my body and slipped on a baggy t shirt and a pair of volleyball shorts and went to sleep thinking about how amazing and how much I love and trust my boyfriend...
