Aryanna's POV

I woke up three hours later and just laid in the bed with my eyes closed. There was a soft knock on my room door then in walked Nevada and Jabrea. They sat on the edge of the bed. "How you feeling boo?" Jabrea asked me. "I'm cool." I replied nonchalantly. "We know you're hurting. If you want we'll stay home with you." Nev said. "Nahh y'all go have fun! Be safe. I love you guys." I said. "We love you too. There's some potato soup on the stove. We know it's your favorite." Nev said. "You sure pumpkin?" Jabrea asked me using my childhood nickname. "Yeah go have fun." I said then buried myself under the covers. They were a little hesitant about going. After a few minutes they left. I laid around in my bed and then texted Mack.

We texted a little while longer then I think he fell asleep poor baby. I finally got out of bed and went downstairs. I poured myself a bowl of soup and laid on the couch and turned on Netflix and watched "Mr Good burger" this my shit! Any 90's baby know this movie. Halfway through the movie the doorbell ringed. I went to open and revealed Justin in sweats and with a bag that looked to be filled with snacks and two movies in his hand.. Oh lord..

Justin's POV

After football practice I had to go see Joann crazy ass she wanted to "talk" which lead to her annoying ass nagging me. I don't have time for that shit so I left and headed home. I threw my bag on the floor by the door. I'll get it later. I walked in the kitchen to see my pops and Cassie. "Hey y'all" I greeted them. "Hey son. How was school?" He asked. "It's was ok.." I said thinking about how upset Aryanna was. "Justin.. Is something wrong?" Cassie my pop's girlfriend asked. She was cool even though she's like around my age well in the twenty's. I can trust her and talk to her like I said she cool. "Can I talk to you both about something?" I asked them. "Sure" They both said. "We'll I kinda like this girl even though she has a boyfriend and I got Joann but I just feel like we suppose to be together." I started. They nodded so I kept going. "Well her parents got a divorce last year and her mama recently started going out for days and not being home so basically she went M.I.A.. Well the girl talked to her mom last night after she got home. But her mom brought the guy home with her and turns out their getting married." Cassie shook her head and pops looked at me. "So she is heartbroken because she thought that her parents would get back together. And I planned to go hang with the crew for a little while but I think I wanna go chill with her. She wasn't at lunch and she didn't talk all day. What should I do?" I asked them. I needed answers, I have to help her. "Well first is this girl Aryanna?" Pops asked with a smirk I just smiled. "First tell her that some people are better apart then together. And sometimes things have to happen to open your eyes to the things right in front of you. Let her vent to you. Just be there and comfort her. But if she is taken be mindful of that." Cassie told me. I told y'all she cool af and she give great advice. "Yeah do what Cassie said and go to her house and have like movies and snacks and just be a shoulder for her to cry on. But don't get yourself into sum with her boyfriend iight?" Pops told me. "Yes sir." I said then went upstairs to shower and change. I called the boys and told them that I wasn't going, they understood. I hung out with my fam then left. On the way over I stopped at Walmart and got snacks and red box to get movies. Then went to Aryanna's house...

Aryanna's POV

"Justin what are you doing here? I thought you were going out with everyone." I asked. "I was but being a good friend is more important than a party." He said then walked inside and sat on the couch and put everything on the glass table in front of us. "What's in the bag?" I asked. "Snacks and I brought Safe Haven and Grownups 2 since you said these are some of your favorite movies." He said. "Thanks" I said then got up to put my empty bowl in the sink and went back to sit on the couch with Jus. "So tell me what's wrong. And don't tell me it's nothing because I just know by looking at you that your hurting." Justin said gently. As if on cue the tears poured out. "Why'd she move on?" I asked. He pulled me into a warm comforting hug. "I know it hurts but sometimes people are better apart than together. Just because they're not together anymore doesn't mean that they don't still love each other or love you any less." Just said. "Then why did she shut me out?" I asked. "I don't know maybe she didn't unintentionally." He said. After an hour or so I was feeling a lot better. We talked about me moving in with my papi and that I should apologize to mama and john. We popped some popcorn and ate the snacks and watched one of the movies. I was leaning on his side with his arm around me. I looked up at him and noticed him staring "What nigga?" I asked then threw a piece of popcorn at him. "Nothing" He said. We stared at each other and before I knew it. We kissed! His lips were so warm and perfect and amazing! Our lips moved in sync and I know this some cliche shit but I felt fireworks. Damn! His plump juicy lips moving against mine had my body in a trace. While kissing him I thought about my Mack randomly. Fuck! I pulled and we just looked at each other. "Maybe I should leave" Justin said. "Yeah I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks for being here for me." I said to him. "No problem. Goodnight" he said. "Goodnight" I said then closed the door.
