Narae's POV:

The blindings opened, sending unnecessary light in, shining right in my face, which made me groan, rolling onto my stomach, and I could just see Donghyuck roll his eyes, before I felt something hit my back, which then repeatedly hit my back, not like it was that hard, it was a pillow.

"You're so goddamn lazy, we have school today, P.E, remember?" His annoying voice was annoyingly close to my ear, and I slapped my hand up, hoping to hit him, which I, unfortunately didn't, and he let out a sound of displeasure, before I once again, was hit by the pillow, I finally sat up, I immediately regretted it though as he let out a loud snicker.

"Your hair is so messy!" He just had to point it out, but it was early, at least early for me as I was still in a bad mood, just wanting to lie down and cuddle my blankets, but Donghyuck wasn't having that, I sent him a glare hoping he would leave me alone, but did he?

Of course..

Not.

"Your life is messy, now please, let me sleep." I managed to see him roll his eyes, before I turned around on my stomach and before I could rest my head on my pillow, it was removed, making me face plant my mattress his laugh echoing in my room, to which I rolled my eyes.

"Just get up, your mom made pancakes." Sighing, I swung my legs over my bed, finally standing up, which made Donghyuck cheer with one raised fist, only earning a sour look from me and he smirked, pleased with my reacting, I wasn't pleased by him though.

Donghyuck had slept in my room this night, and honestly speaking, it wasn't that bad as I had expected, I was still breathing as a complete human and he was pretty funny to just talk to, not like I didn't already know, but yesterday night everything just got pretty personal.

An example was that he came to this city to find his first love, but something was off when he was telling the story, it was like something was missing, but that wasn't something I wanted to ask about right now, my mom had made pancakes and I loved pancakes so I quickly grabbed a shirt, before I bolted downstairs, almost toppling Donghyuck, who had been standing in the doorway.

"All of that because of pancakes? Wow, your lazy ass needs a lot of sugar as well, huh?" His question didn't really get to me, knowing that he was just joking, since I had figured out his body language when he meant something and when he didn't mean something.

When he truly meant something, he got all flustered almost shy and he couldn't keep eye contact, at least not if it was a compliment or something similar to that, and then when he didn't mean what he said, he mostly would have this smug yet kind of attractive expression painted on his face.

"I'll burn everything at P.E anyways, unlike others." Nudging him a bit harshly, almost making him collide with the wall in the kitchen, I sat down in a chair, a few moments later my parents joined and then Donghyuck, who was mumbling small complaints under his breath, probably complaining about me pushing him into the wall.

"Eat a lot, since it's cold if you want to keep yourself warm, right?" Me and Donghyuck mumbled in unison a 'right', before digging into the sweet savory food in front of us, I just ate not really caring Donghyuck stole a glance or two in my way, because he was eating just as ugly than me, if not uglier.

"Gotta keep that one-pack." His remark almost made me spit out my orange juice, which made his face scrunch up into a grin, happy with my positive reactions, and I leaned back in the chair, trying to control my laughter a bit.

That remark had sent me into a laughing fit, why? I wasn't completely sure, maybe it was because I could relate to what he had just said, or maybe it was because he sounded so sarcastic and sassy, I just couldn't hold it in.

"You two weird kids, get ready for school!" My dad waved his hand at us and before I could protest about me not being done, I was grabbed by the arm by Donghyuck, who then dragged me out of the kitchen, leaving my parents, not really caring about my complains.

"I owe you, I know, just shut up about those pancakes! I'll buy you something at school!" My eyebrows raised automatically at those words as he found his uniform, throwing mine at me as well and before I could ask if he even had money, because after what I remember I accused him for stealing, but he had already locked himself inside the toilet.

"And before you ask, yes, I do have money!" He was shouting from the bathroom and I rolled my eyes as I took off my shirt, changing into my uniform shirt.

"Slowpoke, you ready?" For once, I was the one to finish first and I was almost a hundred percent sure, I heard something shatter from in there, making me open my mouth to question it, only for myself to get interrupted by him.

"Nothing happened!"

Sure.

Sure, Donghyuck.

Shrugging my shoulders, I decided to get ready by doing something, which wasn't brushing my teeth.

"You calling me a slowpoke?" Turning my head in the direction of his voice, I had to hold myself back from rolling my eyes or grimacing as I saw him with his jacket on, ready to leave, and I nodded, walking past him to brush my teeth.

"You look weird while you're brushing your teeth."

"Why even brush your teeth when they're still yellow?"

A lot of comments similar to those, were what left his mouth as I finished brushing my teeth and I passed by him, almost forgetting my backpack if Donghyuck hadn't come running with it.

"Let's go!" He raised his voice almost an octave, before grabbing the strap from my backpack and without giving me a chance to say 'goodbye' to my parents, we were on our way towards school.

"I gotta warn you, I didn't know if you noticed, but the girls kept on looking at you as if you were their next meal, just thought you would like to know."
