Narae's POV:
My boyfriend hadn't liked it one bit that I was that close with Donghyuck, but what could I do, I mean, he was kind of living in my house and sleeping in the same room as me, we couldn't do anything but become a bit close.
Our friendship only grew with the days passing by, and we had now known each other for over a week, which meant we had P.E today, it had honestly speaking, been a nightmare for me since we weren't doing things I was good at, like gymnastics, no, we had to dance.
Donghyuck had found it amusing, how I stumbled over my own feet and just failed completely, and he had earned the cold shoulder for a few moments until he apologized, not without rolling his eyes though.
Then Haneul came into the picture.
Did I mention Donghyuck was amazing at dancing?
Well, he is and he had our teacher stunned, as well as us students.
So, him being him, he had after teasing me and annoying me, asked if I wanted help learning the choreography we had been assigned to dance, which I had accepted, wanting to do well, but my slightly overprotective boyfriend didn't like that.
He claimed that Donghyuck was getting too touchy with me and just too close in general, and that was, like, the start of a small argument, with Haneul getting a bit too close to Donghyuck, who was calm throughout everything.
What surprised me the most was that Haneul had pulled a move, and by that I mean he had punched Donghyuck, just hard enough to leave him with a bleeding nose, which was why we were in this position right now.
Him sitting on my, our, couch as I dabbed a cotton ball on his nose, the blood continued to stream from his nose, and he flinched slightly as I accidentally pushed his nose a bit, before apologies started leaving my mouth.
"Your boyfriend is a bit.. Fierce.." Focusing on his nose, I ignored his statement as I gently lifted his chin to inspect his nose, and he cleared his throat, making me look at him.
"What?" He knew I had heard what he had said and decided to just let it go by shaking his head, making me turn back to my work, which was cleaning his nose from blood, and making him hot chocolate.
"He usually doesn't act like that.." That made him raise his eyebrows and he nodded or tried to as I held his head in place, still trying to stop the blood, but since it was something which just had happened, it was a bit hard to.
Right after Haneul had punched him, I had, of course, gotten pretty mad at him, and helped Donghyuck gain his balance again, after the hit had him a bit lightheaded, which seemed to piss Haneul off even more.
But all that had happened right after P.E, which fortunately for us, had been the last class for today, and then we were able to storm home, so I could stop the bleeding as fast as possible, but that wasn't what had pissed me off the most.
What pissed me off the most was the fact Haneul did nothing after the hit.
No apologies, no shock, no trying to stop us..
"Narae? You there?" The sound of someone snapping their fingers, brought me back to reality, and I looked at Donghyuck, who was sitting with crossed arms and a dripping nose.
The amount of blood made me squeak as I took a paper towel, dropping the blood covered cotton ball on the table as I tried my best to fit in the space between the couch and the table, and I lightly dabbed his nose with the paper towel.
"Lean back."
"What?"
"Just do it!" A frustrated sigh left me, and he scoffed, rolling his eyes, before obeying to my words, not without a mumble or two leaving him, but they were really quiet so I just managed to hear 'it's not my boyfriend, who hit you'.
Yes, I heard boyfriend.
As we were in that position, we sat in silence, making it a bit awkward since we always had something to talk about, and he broke the silence by clearing his throat.
"I.. I have a secret to tell you.. It's pretty important.." His voice was a bit muffled, due to me pinching his nose, though his words did make me roll my eyes since I found the situation a bit odd to be exchanging secrets.
"Can it wait? It's not really the moment to be exchan-" I didn't get to finish my sentence.
"I'm an angel."
What, was he serious right now?
How much blood did he lose?
A few silent moments passed by, before an airy laugh left me, and I shook my head, removing the paper towel, placing another one on his nose instead and placing his own hand on it, telling him to squeeze.
"I'm dead serious." Smiling slightly, I found it a bit cute, how he acted like that due to the blood loss, and I shook my head, patting his cheek slightly.
"And I'm a mermaid, seriously, how much blood did you lose?" He made a face at that, shaking his head, he tried to look at me, but I pushed his head back so he was looking at the ceiling.
"Nar- I didn't lose that much.. I'm seri- Hey, where are you going?" I had stood up in the middle of that sentence, thinking that I should hurry and get the chocolate ready, thinking it would be best for him if he got some sugar in his system.
"Get some rest, I'll get you some sugar so you don't pass out." Before he could ask any questions, I left the living room and walked into the kitchen, just as my phone rang.
'My Partner In Crime'
"Hey, Gayeon!" As I was standing outside the kitchen, I turned slightly to look at the boy sitting on the couch, just staring into nothing, and a sigh left the other line, making me furrow my eyebrows, my attention leaving Donghyuck.
"Narae.. I've heard what happened from Haneul.." She started off, making me bite down on my lip, already knowing what was coming up, and I nodded, aware of her not being able to see me.
"He has been crying for a long time now, he really wants to make up for hitting him.." I knew it was coming, I knew a Haneul-is-crying was coming up, and still I fell for it.
That wasn't the first time he had done something like that.
"Okay.."
