Narae's POV:

"So, you got kicked out of heaven because of this, Dasom girl?" Donghyuck nodded at my question, running a hand through his hair, and I nodded a bit confused.

"Or, it's a bit more complex than that.. Angels, especially guardian angels, aren't supposed to fall in love with a human." His explanation made me nod once again, still confused about why he got kicked out because of a girl, but what did I know about loving a human while being a guardian angel?

Moments like these were those moments I wished I was able to keep my rude comments to myself.

"You don't really look like an angel."

"Rude much?" He actually looked deeply offended by those words, and my words didn't stop there, because then the next words left me;

"You actually look like something, the exact opposite!"

"Again, rude!" After sending a glare and after that exclamation, silence took over the two of us, leaving us to look at each other, sitting in front of each other.

The silence was awkward as none of us said one word after his exclamation, and I looked down at my hands as I cleared my throat, my eyes never looking up at him.

"How was she.. Like?" A sound left him, it sounded a bit like a mix between a snort and a sigh.

"Personality?" I hummed in response.

"She was.. Amazing.. It was never her intention to hurt anyone nor insult anyone, and I think that they was why, I kind of fell for her." This time it was my turn to let out some weird noise which sounded like a combination of a snort and an odd laugh.

"Which is a bit weird since you're insulting everyone." That earned me a push from Donghyuck which almost had me fall off the couch, if his fast reflexes didn't come into action, and a laugh left me as I pushed him back.

After a quick laugh from him, the atmosphere turned serious once again as he sighed, and I tilted my head to the side, waiting for him to say what he wanted.

"You do remember how I asked you to help me find her? Do you maybe.. Think we could look for her.. Now?" My teeth bit down on my bottom lip as my mind wandered to Haneul, whom I was supposed to apologize to today, but even with him on my mind, I agreed, wanting Donghyuck to find his true love, and he sent me a grin, jumping to his feet.

"Where should we look?" Was the question which left me as I lifted myself to my feet, and he shrugged, grabbing my wrist, not giving me a chance to ask anything else.

He didn't give me time to say bye to my parents as he dragged me through the house until we finally reached the door, and he gave me just enough time to slip on a pair of shoes and grab my jacket, before we were out the door, looking for this Dasom girl.

I, honestly, hadn't seen him this energetic before and definitely not because of another human being as he mostly kept to himself, if not someone he was completely comfortable with.

I was one of those.

"Let's not look at the park, it's too cliché." His comment had me laughing slightly, but I agreed with him a hundred percent and instead we made our way towards the mall, it was such a visited place, she had to be there on a Saturday.

"Wouldn't it be like really fun if she actually was at the park?" That made me earn a slight nudge from him, a chuckle rumbling from him as well, and the sound made me smile just a tiny bit.

"You're such a weird girl, seriously.." While shaking his head, those words had left him, but he couldn't hide the smile which had sneakily crawled onto his face, and we entered the mall, people rushed around everywhere, probably buying delayed Christmas gifts.

"Ah, before we look for her, let me buy you a smoothie as a thank you!" This was a new Donghyuck.

A new Donghyuck I could get used to.

If I got free food each time we went to look for Dasom, my parents would never see me home again, seriously, free food.

"What did she look like? Was she pretty?" The two of us were now walking with slow and lazy steps towards the smoothie place, and Donghyuck chuckled slightly, his eyes turning to look at the sky.

"She was stunning.. Her hair wasn't particularly long, but it was soft and it smelled good." As soon as he said the thing about hair, I couldn't help myself but let my hand fiddle with the ends of my medium long hair, and he continued, just as lovestruck as before;

"Eyes were round, she genuinely looked like an angel, which says a lot since I've seen a lot." The last comment had me laughing slightly, and I couldn't help but feel a bit envious since I never knew how Haneul described me to his friends, all I knew was, it wasn't as beautifully as Donghyuck described Dasom.

I didn't want to destroy the happy mood Donghyuck was in, so I tried to keep my thoughts about Haneul to myself, but being that goddamn angel-boy he was, he figured it out pretty quickly.

"You do know that I still have a few tricks up my sleeve, even though I got kicked out of heaven, right?" My eyebrows raised at that, but I didn't say anything as he before I knew it, had made a flower appear in his hand, and no, he didn't just pick it up or something, it just randomly appeared.

Just as he handed it to me, it kind of exploded, leaving nothing but a single petal, and he sent me a wink, only earning a hit to the shoulder by me.

"What are you? A circus clown?" I joked, sending a smug grin to his face as he shrugged, and just as we entered the smoothie place, I immediately regretted ever stepping inside as my eyes landed on my boyfriend as the first thing.

"Let's leave." Donghyuck sent me a confused look, but as soon as Haneul headed in our direction with a furious look on his face, his eyes widened, but instead of grabbing Donghyuck, Haneul grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the shop, leaving Donghyuck.

"I think we need to talk."
