Fake Smile

Impressed by my fake smile?
Won't see the sadness from a mile.
The only talent I have.
Wanting to cry, but laugh.
You think you see happiness.
But that's to cover sadness.
I've been like this for a while.
Always putting on a fake smile.
Being such a liar.
When will this all retire?
Crying out of sight.
Acting like to see the light.
Seeing positivity of the world.
But I'm a depressed girl.
So emotionally broken.
You see me as a token.
But only because of the lies.
They wrap me in a tie.
Mind not a straight line.
Impressed by my fake smile?
