Jack's POV

"Nonsense why would Professor Snape put a curse on Harry's broom?" Hagrid asks us.

"Don't know, why was he trying to get past that three headed dog on Halloween?" Harry asks him.

"Who told you about Fluffy?" Hagrid asked sending me a look and I shook my head slightly.

"Fluffy?" Ron asks.

"That thing has a name?" Hermione asks.

"Of course he's got a name, he's mine I got him off an Irish fellow I met at a pub last year. Then lent him to Dumbledore to guard the..." Hagrid explained before trailing off.

"Yes" Harry prompted wanting to hear more.

"Shouldn't have said, don't ask anymore questions. That's top secret it is" Hagrid states.

"But Hagrid want ever Fluffy's guarding, Snape's trying to steal it" Harry states. I shake my head in annoyance, Snape was helping to protect the stone. Besides he was only trying to stop Quirrell according to want he had told me. He told me want happened Halloween when he made me clean his office for trying to fight a mountain troll.

"Codswallop, Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher" Hagrid reminded Harry.

"Hogwarts teacher or not, I know a spell when I see. I've read all about them, you have to keep eye contact and Snape wasn't blinking" Hermione states. That was true.

"Exactly" Harry says and Ron nods his head in agreement.

"Now you listen to me all four of you" Hagrid says catching all our attention. "You are meddling in things, that ought not to be meddled in. It's dangerous" he states. "Want that dog is guarding is strictly between Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel" he tells us.

"Nicholas Flamel?" Harry asks. I roll my eyes in annoyance at Hagrid sending him a silent glare while the other three weren't looking. He did the right thing by looking sheepish.

"I shouldn't have said, I should not have said that forget I did" Hagrid tells us before stalking off towards his hut.

"Who's Nicholas Flamel?" Ron asks Hermione.

"No idea" she replies.

"Maybe we should drop it guys, Hagrid did say it was dangerous" I suggest.

"Since when have you been scared of danger?" Ron asks shocked and the other two also look shocked at my suggestion.

"I'm not, I just think we need to get our priorities straight. My first priority is and always well be to protect Harry" I explain.

"I appreciate that Jack, but we have to find out want Fluffy is guarding and protect it from Snape" Harry states.

"Why do you think it's him?" I ask.

"He tried to kill Harry in the quidditch match, isn't that enough?" Ron asks me.

"I still believe he was trying to protect Harry and someone else cast the curse on Harry's broom. But I will help you three if Harry wishes to continue pursuing this" I state.

"I do Jack" Harry says looking into my green eyes with his own.

"Very well then" I say giving him a armed hug before pulling away.

"Let's go to the library and see want we can find out about Nicholas Flamel" Hermione states. She leads the way to the library while we follow. We soon reached the library and Hermione picked books for us to look through. We went in pairs to get through more books quicker.
