Chapter One -Meeting again

***Warning! this is a yaoi (boyxboy) story. If you don't like boyxboy don't read. If you do I hope you enjoy. this is the first story that I have done so if it is horrible, sorry. But I hope you enjoy! The main characters are Kia and Liang. (I love those names. I don't know why) Anyway I am going to stop jabbering and let you read. the point of view is Kia's. enjoy!***

Chapter One

I looked behind me, running quickly and quietly through the door of a once Sea Aquarium. Locking the door securely I stopped to breathe. I heard a sudden scream outside making me jump.

I turn around and look outside through the window. A woman is running with a few others as they are chased by the invaders who claim to now own us. The sound of bullets fire throughout the air. I stoop down and hide until it is silent.

I wait a few more moments before looking out the window again. The body of a small girl lies not too far away. Blood floods the ground, staining it red.

I want to do something, but I know I can't. Sighing, I turn around and continue on to my target. I come to a room with a huge aquarium, still as fresh and beautiful as it was before we were attacked.

It is an emotional moment for me to see what once was my everything. It is still perfect and untouched. The last thing of my knowledge safe from destruction.

I look around the room. It is silent except for the sound of fish. I look down to my hands, surprised to see they are shaking.

I said I would never come again, yet here I am. Seeking his help. A voice makes me jump and pull the weapon I had been hiding out from the security at my waste. "It's been a long time Kia." A deep and luring voice calls out.

I hear the sound of scales on the ledge that helps you in the pool. I calm, closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, before turning around again. "Liang."

The ocean blue eyes meet with mine and my heart skips a few beats. "Why are you here?" He asks coldly, lifting himself from the water.

His tail, sparkling a royal blue and purple, begins to disappear. I watch quietly as legs appear on his naked body. I blush as he stands up and comes to my side; his hot breath on my neck.

"I asked a question. I expect an answer." His words reminded me I was on a mission.

I got myself together and stood tall. "I need your help."

He watched me and a small smirk appeared over his beautiful pink lips. "You say you need me. Crawling back like this must be so shameful and embarrassing for you Kia."

I feel my resolve dissolving as anger and hatred runs through me. "I wouldn't be here unless I really needed your help." I look into his eyes. "Trust me."

He glares at me for a little longer before turning away sadly. "Put the gun away. You know I wouldn't hurt you."

I looked down shocked at myself. I hadn't realized I was gripping and pointing the gun at him so hardly. "Sorry. " I mumble as he gets on the ledge.

He looks at me and smiles. "Why not join me for a swim?" As I start to refuse he jumps in without looking back. When he resurfaces his tail and fins are back.

He gives me a questioning look and held his hand up, cocking his head to the side. "No, I can't change anymore."

His face suddenly showed a whirl pool of emotions and he went under. After five minutes I walked over and called out his name. "Liang!"

He still didn't come up.

"Please, I need to talk to you."

A second later a hand shot up and he pulled me into the water. Going deep down water filled my lungs and I opened my eyes trying to hurry back up to the surface. His hand still clung to mine, not allowing me to move. I gave him a quick pleading look before I felt his mouth on mine.

The water left me and was replaced by air. As he continued to feed me air I subconsciously wrapped my arms around him and closed my eyes, savoring every second.

Lost in his lips and my emotions I hadn't realized we were back to the top. I shot open my eyes and shoved him away from me. Trying to get back up I slipped and he caught me. "Kia..."

"Get off of me."

"Kia, just let me help you up before you split your skull open fighting me!"

I stopped struggling and let him lift me up out of the water. I coughed up the remaining water and breathed deeply. I looked over to see many fish watching us intrigued. I gave a warning look and they went back under.

"Are you really human now Kia?" Liang's sad voice spoke out to me.

It was best if he didn't know. "Yes." He looked away from me and everything fell silent.

"So why are you here?"

"I need your help."

"I will hear your reason as an apology for just now." He answered coldly again.

"The humans are dying and being killed by the thousands. It is our fault the enemy is here. We brought them. Me and you. We owe a dept to them to save their lives. Only we can stop them."

"Maybe humans should just all die. They only kill anyway. Maybe this was their fate."

"Whether it was or not is not up to us. If it really is their fate, then it will be found out as their fate after I give my all defending them."

"Why help them?"

"Every being should have the right to choose their destinies. It shouldn't be chosen for them. Liang, we can not stoop to the level of killing the weak as you say they do. As of the ten years I have been here, there is so much more to their kind. Hope keeping them moving on. Their hard work for the ones they love. They are amazing."

He said nothing but looked into my eyes, searching for something.

"Not all of them are perfect but either are we."

He thought for a few minutes. "You have to give me something in return."

I looked up at him, an uneasy feeling in me. "What?"

"Yourself." He said seductively while exiting the water. Legs appeared and he comes to me, wrapping his arms around my waste. He cups my face with his hand and kisses me gently.

He kissed me harder, soon gaining entrance in my mouth. He mingled our tongues together and I felt myself falling into his trap. "No!" I try to pull away but his grip becomes harder. He kisses me again, fighting me for dominance.

I feel a small moan of pleasure escape from me and he smiles. "Agree."

I felt tears trickle down my face and he holds me close. "No Liang. This was ended a long time ago for a reason."

"I didn't believe you then and I don't now." My heart skipped a beat as he held me close. "If so, why do you always cry when saying goodbye to me?"

He caught me there. I had nothing to say. We stood in silence for a long time until he backed up slightly from our embrace and looked me in the eyes.

"Then until we finish, you will stay with me. Deal?" I was going to reject when he spoke up again. "If not I will never help. I will go back in the water and forget about everything you have said today."

He really was leaving me no choice. Reluctantly I answered. "Only until we win this will I be with you. But you have to try and do your best or this contract will be over and I will never see you again."

He smiled brightly and nodded. "Deal." I held my hand out but he pushed it away and gave me look I knew.

I slowly went closer and kissed him for a second. Once done I pulled away and grabbed the gun from off the ground. I went into the back and grabbed some clothes. I threw them at his feet. "Put on some damn clothes Liang. Get ready to go."
