Chapter 57: No Ordinary Day
Audrey's POV
"Ross go away! I told you I don't want to talk to you and I won't forgive you so don't even try!" I yelled at Ross.
He looked shocked, but the emotion of a broken heart washed over him.
I felt really bad that I'm hurting him like this, but he hurt me first. God I sound like a little child. But I had enough, so I scooped up Alice and skated off.
"Where are we going?" Alice asked.
"Somewhere that's not here...." I answered sterned.
I could of swore that I saw my sister and brother across the rink on the other side of the railing.
I sat Alice down on a bench and started unlacing her skates and I grabbed her pink converse and handed them to her to put on. While she was lacing her shoes, I took off my skates and put on my shoes.
I shoved our skates into our bags and threw them over my shoulder.
I picked up Alice. Shes very tiny for a 10 year old. She still likes to be my little princess, and she'll always will.
"Again. Where are we going?" Alice asked.
"Again. Somewhere." I answered, walking away from the rink.
I entered the country club, and sat Alice down on the couch. I looked around and spotted Jeremy watching our competition on the tv with Andrew. Must be a re-run.
"Jeremia!" I called out as I fast my walked up to him.
He turned around and looked at me, but then looked back at the tv. "Dont call me that."
"Fine Jeremia. Can you take Alice and I home?"
"Yeah, can we please play a game of hockey first?"
"Yeah! Wanna join?" Drew bugged in.
"Home. Now. And No, I don't. Jeremy can I talk to you?"
"Sure."
I pulled him into a corner and to talk.
"Ross is here." I said taking a deep breathe and exhaling out.
"What?"
"Yeah. Thats why I don't wanna play. Hockey sounds awesome right now, but not when the Lynches are around."
"Okay. Lets just go home."
"Oh I should have thought of that. Oh wait, I did. Now lets go."
I pushed him out of the corner and walked back to Drew.
"Come on man, lets go." Jeremy said tapping Drews shoulder.
He was distracted by the tv but finally came back. "But what about the game?"
"You can stay here then. I'm going home with my family."
"Fine." and Drew just sat there watching the tv.
Wow. Bastard much!
Jeremy took us home. As soon as we pulled up into the driveway, Drake and Megan were running out from the woods.
Megan and I locked eyes and she looked frightened. Drake and Megan sprinted for the green house where they could get into the back door.
Weird.....
I handed Alice her bag as she unbuckled herself and hopped out and I did the same.
I ran inside and saw Megan swing open the basement door that's right next to the staircase. Drake followed ber.
Staircase, straight ahead.
They both came back up and had no socks or shoes on their feet.
"What the? Whats going in with you two?" I asked concerned.
Drake scratched behind his neck like he always does when he gets nervous. "Oh nothing, yenno just a pair of loving brother and sister acting weird."
Megan nodded.
"Okay then." and I walked upstairs. Down a few hallways, and went to the bedroom that Megan and I share.
I threw my bag onto my bed and sighed.
I looked out my window and realized that it was a giant window, it also had doors! and a balcony!
How come I missed this? Like, seriously? I thought that it was a roof for something below us.
I pushed around the window and two glass doors opened as a breeze came into the room.
Woah that's cold.
I started kicking snow off the balcony and it flew down, and the wind carried.
I brushed the snow off the railing with my sleeve and then went back inside.
I kicked off my shoes into the corner and pushed my bag off the bed so I could lay down.
Today is just crying out for death.Unknown Number-
