Zinc's Dark Days

First Day (Part 1)

At exactly 1:17, helicopters were heard in the skies when the people of Zinc were eating. As time passed, it was Science time. Ms. Elsy was talking about different cells. At exactly 1:45, a voice came through the speakers, "Attention, students and teachers, an illness has spread through Makati and the faculty is on standby on what actions to take", Ms. Queenie said. The class was surprised about the news and they were shocked because it was the first time for Ms. Queenie to talk through the speakers, and they knew it was serious. Ms. Elsy was panicking as Ms. Loida knocked on the door and said to Ms. Elsy, "French Fries", it was a code telling that it isn't a drill. Ms. Elsy panicked even more. She said "Okay class, remain in your seats, I shall return.". Ms. Elsy went out the room and the class was looking out the window out of curiosity, as Ms. Elsy was walking, a creature ran into Ms. Elsy from the hallway at the left. The class was panicking as they saw Ms. Elsy getting bitten. Amir was fast and quickly locked the door. The creature ran into the window and everyone was screaming. SAN quickly locked the window as he was near the window. As Sam was doing the sign of the cross, the creatures were banging on the door as the boys were quickly stacking up the bags at the door. It was basically only them in the room, with no teachers or with no adults. Jazz quickly rushed to Day and asked if she was okay. Day responded, "I'm okay, how about you?, Jazz responded back, "I'm okay, I'll be back", Jazz went to the door to check on the boys who were working hard to stack up the chairs and bags. As 10 minutes passed, the creatures were still banging on the door. People were struggling to talk to everyone and trying to lead them. Blake stood up on a chair and shouted, "Guys!!!", the people were silent, as the creatures were heard growling. Blake shouted, "We need to wait for now, then we go out and go upstairs to find food. The other sections must be safe in their classrooms." It was 3:06 as the creatures stopped banging on the door and window. The people of Zinc were confused because of the odd silence. JC decided to put paper on the window and on the door, therefore the creatures wouldn't see the students. At 4:21, the students of Zinc started to become hungry, then, Blake ordered Zinc to go upstairs and get food from the canteen. With no knowledge, the students grabbed books for their weapons. When they were ready, they slowly opened the door, and looked left and right. It seemed clear to go. Blake was first to go outside, the girls stayed in the room because the boys knew that the classroom is safe from those creatures. As Blake goes out, he checks the classroom of Krypton, and it seemed to be empty. Blake called out the boys and together, they went up. As going up, they saw a lot of creatures. Blake slowly opened the door of the Industrial Arts room, but JC tripped on the stairs and the noise caught the attention of the creatures. Blake rushed into the room and the group followed. As Juan Miguel was going in the doorway, the creatures grabbed him by his collar. He fell down backwards and the creatures were eager to eat him. Blake fought back with his book, then the group followed and got the creature to release his grip from Juan Miguel's collar. Juan Miguel was badly injured because of scratches on his body. The group stayed in the room for 20 minutes.
