Zinc's Dark Days

Day 8: Dead

*BANG!*, the gunshots was heard through the hallway.

"STOP!", Sir Richard shouted, as he was walking down the hallway, towards Blake and SAN.

SAN quickly opened up his eyes and saw that he wasn't hurt. No injuries or whatsoever. Sir Richard just shot his gun at the floor, between SAN and Blake, just to stop the fight.

"Put the gun down, Blake!", Sir Richard yelled.

"Yes... Sir...", Blake responded. Gwen quickly got near Blake and asked, "Are you okay? What happened between you and SAN?", as Blake ignored the question, slowly regretting what he did. Blake was afraid that SAN might have gotten mad at him, so he didn't get the chance to apologize for the misunderstanding.

Sir Richard had a quick and short talk with both, and the group was ready once again. The group decided to go back to the clinic. The group went to the hallway, that was connected to the new building. Luckily, there were no creatures waiting just outside the clinic. Jazz went to the clinic door, and opened it.

No one was there. "Shiiiii-, where are they?", Jazz said, while the others got inside. JC went near the desk and found a note saying:

"Have fun.", while SAN quickly noticed that the bed or the surgical table Day was on was gone. It was only small, and it had wheels, so it is mobile. Sam quickly prayed again, ensuring that nothing happens to them. The other Newton girls were gone too. Jazz quickly said, "We need to go find them.", as Sir Richard agreed with him. First, Jazz recommended the group to go upstairs, back to the gym, and without any problems, the group agreed again.

While going up the stairs, creatures quickly ran from the other side of the hallway. The group was on the second floor. The group quickly aimed their guns, and shot the creatures, yet they couldn't do it. Jazz and SAN, who was on the stairs, got cut off from the others, while the others were fighting the creatures. Sir Richard quickly shouted, "Go on! We'll take care of this!", while Jazz and SAN go upstairs, towards the gym.

While going up, Jazz said, "SAN... You do know that it's only us going up, right? So... If anything happens... I want... to say..."

"I love you man.", SAN interrupted Jazz.

And Jazz said back, "Yeah man."

The two struggled to open up the gate, as it was reinforced by themselves. Bit by bit, the two eventually opened up the gate of the new gym. SAN quickly took the lead, and went near the wall, near the boys' CR. SAN peeked out of the corner, while crouching down, and while Jazz was above him. Both of them peeked out, while Jazz said, "Is anyone there?", and SAN replied, "I don't think so...", then they both went towards the old gym.

Just after passing the TLE room, the two quickly noticed something, at the center of the old gym. Jazz quickly shouted, "DAYYYYY!", then both of them ran towards the unconscious Day that was lying down on a mobile bed.

*thump thump thump thump*, SAN heard, as he put his ear on Day's chest, and he said, "It's good! She's still alive!", as Jazz said, "Thank goodness!". Both of them were relieved.

*THUMP* *THUMP* *THUMP*, SAN heard, but this time, it weren't heartbeats. It was the sound of creatures rushing up the stairs. SAN quickly shouted, "Jazz! GET READY!", as Jazz prepares his shotgun, that he didn't forget to bring with its ammo. SAN prepared his katana with him. He pulled it out of its scabbard. The two could see the creatures breaking down the old gym's gate.

Soon after, the gate eventually broke down. SAN quickly charged the creatures with his katana, while Jazz stayed behind, protecting Day. SAN was trying his best to kill all of the creatures, but soon enough, he was overpowered by the creatures. The creatures quickly scratched SAN when they had the chance.
