Zinc's Dark Days

Day 4: R.I.P.

The whole group was sleeping.

*thump*

A sound of someone falling to the floor was heard.

"What... was... that...?", SAN thought to himself as he was half - asleep. SAN opened his eyes, then he saw someone leave the clinic, he only saw a man's back. SAN got up and went outside the clinic. Near the door of the Kinder 1 room, he saw Carlo, then SAN said, "What are you doing in the middle of the night?", SAN checked his watch, *4:27*, then Carlo didn't respond. SAN went near him little by little, then Carlo shouted, "Don't come close!", then SAN responded, "You need to rest! You are still badly injured!", SAN took a step closer, as Carlo shouted again, "I SAID DON'T COME CLOSE!", then he held a gun against his head. SAN shouted, "What the heck are you doing!?", then Carlo said, "I'm tired. I don't want to experience this crap!", as he cocked the handgun, then SAN quickly shouted, "Don't do this! You don't have to end your life like this!", then Carlo responded, "We already lost a lot of us... Especially... Miles. What would happen to us in the near future?", then SAN responded, "You are right. We have lost a lot of us, and we are not sure of our future, but we still have a chance of escaping this hell!", as Carlo said, "Thank you SAN, for all the things you have done, and maybe it's time for me to meet Miles in the afterlife.", and he added once more, "Don't worry, it's going to be quick. You'll just hear a ba-" *BANG*

Carlo committed suicide. SAN quickly fell down to his knees, and thought to himself, "What is this? We have lost another one!", as he was tearing up.

*growl*, the creatures heard the loud noise of the handgun and was rushing down the stairs. SAN went in the clinic quickly and he locked the door, then when he was inside, he noticed that everyone was awake. "What was that?", "What was that loud noise?", "What happened?", was all he could hear as he was lost in deep thoughts. SAN closed his eyes... He said, "Carlo... is dead...", then everyone asked SAN what happened. SAN responded, "He committed suicide... He couldn't live this crappy life anymore.". Sam then prayed to the Lord, that Carlo shall be sent to heaven, and asked Him to forgive Carlo for his sins. The group continued to sleep, but SAN couldn't sleep for he has seen what he wished for not to happen.

The group had fallen asleep, but SAN still couldn't sleep. He thought about Carlo and why he did that, and if he is going to do that as well, in the near future. All the questions were asked in his mind. He stayed up until 7:54 in the morning. After that, he decided to take a nap, to shake off his worries and doubts.

*thump*, a body seemed to have fallen to the ground. SAN ignored the noise. Then, Sam screamed! SAN quickly woke up to see what's happening. As he opened his eyes, he quickly saw creatures trying to get in the clinic. He saw the whole group opening fire on the creatures, as Sir Richard were punching the creatures. SAN quickly got up and got his gun. He fired his handgun. He was extremely cautious, as the group was in the doorway too. After several gunshots, the door was locked again. It was only minutes before it would break open again. Sir Richard got the wooden planks, and he nailed it into the doorway. SAN asked him, "Sir, where did you get those wooden planks?", then Sir Richard replied, "I brought these just in case.". The group finally had time to relax. The creatures stopped banging on the door, as JC put papers on the windows of the door. It was quiet, as the group was starting to starve. There were no food in the clinic, thus they had to come upstairs again to the TLE room, to cook more eggs. Again, they were in a mission, so Sir Richard led the group again. He brought out lots of tape, then he told everyone "Put this around your arms, so that you won't be that vulnerable to bites.", then the group followed the order. While Jhonross was checking the ammo, he noticed that it started to lessen. Jhonross told Sir Richard, "Sir, the ammo is getting even more less.", then Sir Richard told the group, "When we arrive upstairs, we should go to either the kitchen or the storage room of the food, to get ammo. Then we head out to the TLE room, and we eat. Is that clear?", then the group responded, "Yes Sir!". They prepared for another battle against the creatures. They prepared the handguns, they prepared basic aiding equipment. Sir Richard did air punching for his exercise and practice before they go. Then Sir Richard remembered that Jazz is still unconscious and he couldn't come with the group, so he told Sam, Day, Tep, Niobe, Gwen Jhonross, and Marc to stay. Only Sir Richard, SAN, JC, and Blake would go upstairs and try to cook the eggs, then put it in a container. Sir Richard got the containers in his backpack. The four practiced.

 When they were ready, they opened up the door slowly. No creatures were found outside. The four closed the clinic door behind them, and they went to the stairs slowly. While they were walking slowly, creatures started flowing in from the hallway at their left. The four opened fire on those creatures, then an arrow pierced through the creatures' heads from behind. An arrow pierced through 3 heads. The four were shocked to see an arrow, asking themselves, that who would use a bow and arrow instead of a gun in this modern time. With the stranger's help, they succeeded to come up to the second floor, then more creatures flowed in.

"Theta, another creature on your 3. Over.", Sigma said.

"Piece of cake.", Theta said.

"You might want to look behind you, Sigma. Over.", Delta said while he was smiling.

"Alright, Delta. Over.", Sigma responded back, with a smile on his face.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

Sir Richard opened fire from behind with two handguns. The four still enjoyed the moment despite the fact that they are all in danger of dying. They headed up to the top with no problem. They rushed over to the kitchen to get ammo. Sir Richard put handfuls of ammo in his bag. They headed out of the kitchen, while the creatures were still rushing in from left and right. SAN was reloading his handgun outside the TLE room, then Blake pointed his gun on SAN

SAN noticed Blake and shouted, "Blake! Don't do this! Crap! BLAKEEEEEE!!!"

 *BANG*  

SAN fell down on the floor as his face was covered with blood. Sir Richard and JC got inside the TLE room, then Blake dragged SAN's body inside the TLE room, then Sir Richard shouted, "WHAT HAPPENED TO SAN?!?", then Blake responded, "I don't know!", then JC said, "But didn't I hear SAN shouting and a gunshot?".

Blake responded... "Well..."
