“Hi CJ nice to meet you thanks for coming out!”

“Thanks for having me” I smiled at him I was being interviewed by the USWNT because I did a page of the USWNT women’s team and they went nuts for it and I’ve been getting a lot of TV and radio invites for it.

I’m currently in a radio station talking to Dan “that piece you did about the Women’s National team was unbelievable it really brought a tear to my eye” I started to laugh.

“Yeah I actually had the chance to not only interview each team member but I got a chance to interview the coaches and just everyone who is a part of the whole USWNT family and I got so close to them it really touched my heart at the end of the day.”

“Wow see that right there is an interviewer who goes out of her way to make things more personal! That’s why the magazine is now top 3 in the state of California!” I started to clap and cheer.

“Do you mind reading a piece from the magazine?” Dan handed it to me.

“From the sweat, to the blood to the blisters at the bottom of their feet. These women train, fight, love, succeed, and win all together as one unit but unlike some other teams these women don’t let the label define who they are or who they are becoming. They define it, and they guide their own path to their own success. Just like a painter and his canvas he lets the paint guide him to find his perfect masterpiece just like these women let the ball find their perfect goal” I looked up at Dan every now and then and he was mouthing the words as I read them out loud.

I can tell he read this magazine more than 5 times “that really is inspiring, where did you get that line?”

“Which one?”

“The part where it says ‘just like a painter and his canvas he lets the paint guide him to find his perfect masterpiece’ it really says something there” he told me.

“An old friend of mine told me that…” I looked down at my hands and smiled.

Sometimes I wish I would of followed the boys on tour and told them I’m sorry for everything that I should of never done it and that we can all be one big family again but it was a little too late for me to do that.

“Whoever that old friend was really left a mark on you huh?”

“Yeah they did.”

“They?”

“I had more than 1 old friend” I smiled at him.

“Oh, here let’s take some callers” he quickly changed the subject.

“Hi C.J my name is Britt and I was wondering if you’re still friends with One Direction…?”

I couldn’t lie to her or the thousands of people listening to this radio interview “um not so much since they went on their tour it’s a bit hard to stay in contact when they travel from country to country” I joked and lied.

“Hi C.J I’m Sophia and I was wondering if I can get your advice?” Dee must have set Sophia to say this.

“Sure Sophia” I gritted between my teeth.

“Well my friend C-Cindy’s old fling is going to come back to California and my friends and I both agree that she should go meet up with him instead of avoiding him… What do you think?”

“I think you should let Cindy make her own choices and when she’s ready she’ll come around.”

“Yeah but-”

“Next question Dan” he quickly pressed another number I let out a sigh before Sophia went on when I get home I’m going to bitch slap them so hard.

“Ow! California what the hell!” I smacked the back of Dee’s head as I walked into the kitchen.

“That was for the radio thing, don’t think I don’t know you set up Sophia to do that” I grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.

“Oh you knew about that?” she nervously laughed rubbing the back of her head.

Beverly sat on the couch overhearing my discussion with Dee “look” I walked into the living room sitting down next to Beverly.

“I understand y’all want me to see the boys but frankly I’m not ready-”

“It’s been a year since the last time you seen him! You can’t keep saying you’re not ready that’s the worst excuse you have ever said, you keep repeating it and frankly it’s getting old” Beverly spoke up.

“And what about you huh? You think Niall waited for you? You think he stood outside that bus telling people he’s not leaving without you!?” I knew what I told Beverly really hit her but I just don’t want to admit that I’m just constantly making up excuses.

“I’m-I’m sorry Beverly that was wrong of me” she held her hand up and sighed.

“It’s okay… we both need a wakeup call” I was about to say something else until Sophia ran into the house panting.

“Sophia why are you panting the drive way is like 5 feet from here” I laughed at her.

“I-I went to the old apartment to get the last mail and I seen-” she couldn’t finish the last few words because she was out of breath.

“Who did you see Sophia” Beverly stood up.

“They’re here, there here in California” I look at Beverly and she was as shocked as the rest of us.

“Looks like they’re looking for you huh?” I roll my eyes at Dee who kept smirking at me and Beverly. My heart was beating a mile a minute I couldn’t stand Dee giving me that look I wanted to punch her but I knew she has the right intentions.

“So what do we do now?” I look at Beverly who crossed her arms.

“I don’t know.”
