Nobodys POV
"No, no!" Astrid screamed while sleeping.
"Please just leave me alone! That can't be true... just can't...NO!"
the blonde viking shouted and woke up seeing herself in her room with Stormfly nervously trying to wake her up from dream. "It's okay girl." she said. "It was just a dream. I'm okay". But she wasn't. Astrid was pale and her body was all wet from sweat. She tried to go back to sleep but she failed. The blonde girl was too scared of what she saw. It's been 6 months since Hiccup the chief of Berk defeated Drago.But Astrid was still having nightmares about it. They were all different. From scary scenes of destroyed Berk to dead Hiccup killed by Dragos sword. And those dreams she hated the most. Dreams about Hiccup. She was really close of losing him. Too close. The female warrior was feeling so useless. There she was standing with her axe in her hands trying to save the love of ber life from dying but she couldn't. She was too slow. All her life was one big training. To always be prepared for moments like that. To be able to save somebodys life. To always be there for people in need. To be their protector and helper. To never let somebody down. But there she was standing. Watching Drago killing Hiccup and Astrid could do nothing to save him. Because she was frozen. Frozen from fear. Astrid knew it was only just a stupid dream. She knew that the scenes she saw were fake but feelings weren't. She felt so weak and small. The blonde girl tried to sleep but she was too afraid of seeing that dream again. So she stand up and went straight to Hiccups hut.
Hiccups POV
It was 1.00 at night and I was still awake. I had to answer to all the letters from other tribes.
Just when I was going to make my mark on one of them I heard a knock on the door. I looked at Toothless but he was acting natural so I thought that the person outside wasn't anyone strange. I opened the door and saw Astrid.
She was only in her night clothes. Her hair was down. God she was looking beautiful but her face... her face was full of sadness. I already knew what it was. I told her to come in and so did she.
Astrid POV
I went into Hiccups hut. I looked around only to see a room fulled with new iventions and papers. "Well. At least you can say that it's Hiccups room" I thought. Then I felt a warm hand wrapping around my waist. Hiccup hugged me from behind and whispered sweetly into my ear. "You were having nightmares, weren't you?" I nooded in response. Then he hugged me tighter and sat on the sofa pulling me on his lap. Toothless came to us and licked my hand like he knew what was going on. I laid my head on Hiccups chest and listened to his heartbeat. The next thing I felt were his lips gently kissing mines. I kissed back and put my hands on his neck while Hiccup was playing with my hair. When we pulled away I looked into his beautiful green eyes while he was looking into mines. His hands were just stroking my back.
"I don't want to lose you Hiccup" I said to him looking away. We were dating for 2 years but everytime I was saying something to Hiccup with a little bit of feelings inside of it I was feeling ashamed. Just look at it. Fearless Astrid Hofferson saying something with feelings. It just wasn't normal. The tears were forming in my eyes when I felt Hiccups fingers under my chin making my head to turn and look at him. "You will never lose me Astrid." he started. "I will always be here. And I will always be with you. I will be here to protect you even though I know that you don't need my help. But no matter how many times you will not need my help I will always,always be behind you just in case something will happened. You mean a word to me Astrid. I can't imagine my life without you in it. Everytime I'm upset or angry your sweet voice always makes me happier" he said moving his lips to my ear and starting whispering. " There is nothing more beautiful on this word than you my dear." he whispered into my ear and started to kiss my neck." You are my love. My life. My soul and my breath. Without you I'm just a broken half of a heart. You are my Valkyria from Valhalla Astrid. And never forget that" he said.
