Hiccup was slowly waking up. Yesterday he had a very important meeting with other chiefs which lasted till midnight. Everyone was yelling and cursing each other . Hiccup was trying to calm them down but no one was listening to him. Fortunately his wife was with him so he somehow managed to survive.
When he opened his eyes Hicccup saw his wife, sleeping peacefully in his arms. He was holding her waist while her hands were holding his torso. Her beautiful golden hair was out of signature braid and was laying loosely on the pillow. She was breathing slowly and smiling thru her sleep.
Hiccup couldn't stop his smile when he watched his wife. He slowly took his hand from his valkyries waist and started to play with her hair. Astrid giggled and opened her eyes and looked into her husband ones. When he saw that she was awake Hiccup quickly put an arm under her neck and laid on top of her still playing with her hair.
"Good morning princess" he said in his morning voice.
"Good morning chief" she answered and gave Hiccup her most beautiful smile which made her husband hug her tighter.
"You know I hate when you call me like that" he complained.
"I don't know what you are talking about." Astrid teased.
Hiccup playfully rolled his eyes and buried his face into her neck. Astrid laughed and kissed him on forehead. As an answer for her action he started to kiss her neck. Astrid turned her neck to the side what made Hiccup to kiss her jawline. He was giving her kisses till his lips met hers. Both of them melted into that feeling. Astrid was so happy to spend time with her husband while Hiccup was feeling like he was in Valhalla.
Their kiss lasted for a minute. When they pulled apart they started into each other eyes.
"I love you so much M'lady" he whispered into her ear and caressed Astrid's cheek with his tumb.
"I know that" she answered and put her arms around Hiccups neck. Her husband giggled at her answer and kissed a tip of her nose. Astrid laughed at that action and started to move the auburn haired men away.
"H..Hey..." Hiccup chuckled. "Whatcha doing?" he asked.
"Your beard..." she tried to answered while laughing. "It....it.... tickles" she said.
That made Hiccup grin mischievously. He stood up pulling his lady up with him and put her on his lap. Astrid looked at him really confused but when she saw his face she already knew what he was going to do.
"Ow.. NO..don't you dare do it Hiccup..." she started but he managed to lock her into his grip and whisper to her ear.
"Sooo.... Fearless Astrid Hofferson does have a weakness. Doesn't she?" he teased her while stroking her stomach sending shivers thru his wifes body.
"I swear to Odin... If you do it I'm gonna kill y..." she couldn't finish because Hiccup started to tickle her. Astrid was laughing hysterically and trying to escape but her lovers grip was too strong.
"H..H...Hiccup...Ha..Ha...Ha...Stop...that...Ha...Ha...Can't...breathe" she said while crying from laughter.
"What?" he asked still tickling his wife but now he changed a position so she was laying on her back with him on top of her.
"Did you say something M'lady?" he laughed.
"I hate you so much..." she said. "Please stop...Ha..Ha...Ok.Ok you've won. I'll....I'll do anything"
"Anything?" he asked and stopped tickling.
"Anything" she answered. Hiccup grinned.
"Well... I think a kiss will work" he smiled.
"Dork" Astrid chuckled but gave her husband a passionate kiss. After that he rolled off her and sat next to his divine beauty. He didn't expect what happened next. His princess embraced his neck and started to wrestle her husband, while throwing a pillow on him. Hiccup smiled at her action of revenge.
"Oh.. No.. A big ball of cuteness is attacking me. What am I gonna do?" he asked and dramatically put his hand on his forehead. Astrid stopped what she was doing and sent a death glare to her husband.
"Cute? Did you just say I'm CUTE?" she shouted.
"Yeah.. I certainly did princess." he answered and quickly laid on top of her kissing her neck.
"GET OFF ME YOU IDIOT..." she screamed but couldn't stop a smile. "You are heavier than you look." she added, what made Hiccup move his head.
"Hmm...let me think" he whispered into her lips, teasing. "If I get up, get dressed and go outside I would have to run a village, give another lesson to twins, work in a forge and go to another meeting, but... If I stay... I'll sleep a little longer, don't get stressed and most importantly...spend time with my gorgeous wife." he said.
"Well.... I think I'll go with the second one." he chose. Astrid rolled her eyes and giggled but stayed in the same position she was.
"You know I still hate you, do you?" she asked raising an eyebrow. Hiccup chuckled.
"Looks like I'll have to make it up to you." he answered sweetly and started to lean in. They were closer, closer, closer and.....
"BOOOOOM"
a loud noise was heard from outside. Both of them closed their eyes in anger.
"TWINS!!!!!!"
