Nobodys POV
"Astrid..." Hiccup whispered. The love of his life was in Rykers arms with her eyes closed, not showing any sign of life.
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER?!" Hiccup yelled causing Viggo to step back. Ryker stepped forward but his brother stopped him with his hand.
"Oh...nothing special. Let's say that I gave her some of my families traditional drink to taste." he answered.
"And what was inside of it huh? Poison?" Heather asked while opening her double sided axe.
"Of course not my dear. Why would I want to poison such a beautiful girl?" Viggo said while observing what will Hiccup do. When he saw that the young boy clenched his fists, Rykers brother continued to tease with his enemy.
"So... will you give me my treasure back?" he smirked.
"You will never have it!" Snotlout shouted which caused Hookfang to set on fire. When some hunters saw it they immediately jumped off the boat in fear. Ruff and Tuff started to fight other guys but Viggo was staring intensely at Hiccup.
"Hmmm... after what you've said to me I think we don't have anything more to talk about. You are free to go. I don't need that dragon eye. You can keep it. I think this girl will be a perfect recompense." Viggo said and took Astrid in his arms while playing with her hair.
"Who knows maybe one day we will change Astrids surname from Hofferson to Grimborn..." he added.
And that was enough for Hiccup. What he did next surprised even him, but when his Valkyrie was in danger he was able to do everything.
He took out his inferno and set the deck on fire. Using the fact that Viggo was distracted he ordered to destroy the ships. Next thing he saw was gang high above the smoke level and attacking hunters ships. When he turned around to face Viggo he was welcomed by a painful punch which threw him across the deck. Fortunately Hiccup didn't loose his inferno so he easily parried another stroke.
The smoke was everywhere. It was getting darker and darker. Last time Hiccup saw Astrid was when she was laying on the ground near the barrels.
"Toothless... find Astrid and get her out of here. NOW" he ordered his dragon while turning on his automatic tail. In a matter of second the black dragon was gone and Hiccup was able to face the real problem who literally was standing just behind him.
Viggo attacked really fast but his opponent was ready. When their sword met each other it created a spark. Their eyes were full of anger and determination. Viggo was willing to kill Hiccup for destroying his ships while Hiccup wanted revenge for what he did to Astrid.
Their fight lasted for more than 15 minutes. Yes...Viggo Grimborn was not only a genius strategist but also a phenomenal fighter. Little did he know that Hiccup was trained by a Fearless Astrid Hofferson herself.
Just when the future chief was about to make a final move somebody caught his wrist. He turned around and saw an angry Ryker. When Viggo saw his backup he caught Hiccups second wrist and they both made him collapse.
When Viggo lifted his sword a familiar spine cut his wrist. Hiccups eyes fulled with joy when he saw an unharmed Stormfly ready to protect him.
She pinned Ryker down and send his brother to the other side of the ship. When the main danger was gone she saw that her rider wasn't with Hiccup. Stormfly started to look for her and swinging her wing which caused the flame to get even bigger.
"Don't worry girl... We are not going anywhere without her" Hiccup calmed the dragon down.
Just when he said that a blue blast cut the sky. The gang saw it and they knew it was from Toothless. Knowing that it was their signal to stop attacking they came back to Viggos main ship. In a matter of second the whole team was in the air.
"Did you get her?" the leader asked his dragon while trying to balance on Deadly Nadders back. Toothless gave him a gummy smile and showed him a girl in his paws.
Hiccup sighed in relief and headed back to the edge.
AT THE EDGE
"Hiccup don't worry she will be okay" Heather said trying to stop her friend from pacing back and forth. They were in front of the Hiccups hut waiting for Fishlegs to came out.
"Yeah don't worry dragonboy. That girl will survive even Ragnarok" Tuffnut joked.
When Hiccup was about to comment that Fishlegs came out of the hut.
"So how is she?" his one legged friend asked. Fishlegs just smiled and said "Ask her yourself."
In a matter of second Hiccup was in his hut hugging Astrid tightly.
"Hiccup...can't breathe...need air" the blonde girl said causing him to hug her even more.
"For the love of Thor... Astrid don't you dare do something like that again to me! You scared me to death. Do you know how does it feel when the love of your life is in danger?" he looked at her and saw the she was blushing.
"Why are you blushing? Did I said something or....?" and then he realized what happened.
"Oh...Um...I said that loudly didn't I?" he asked blushing madly and scratching the back of his neck.
"Yes, yes you did" Astrid answered laughing at Hiccups cuteness. "Um...did you, did you mean that?" she asked.
"That's the time." Hiccup thought.
"Yes. I did mean it Astrid. Look I've had a crush on you since well....forever I think. You were always so perfect. Intelligent and funny at the same time. Brave and unbeaten but also cute and sweet. When I was looking into your eyes I was feeling like I was sinking into the ocean of beauty. You were always there to help when I really needed you and were always by my side if something important was happening. Every time I was alone with you my heart was racing like crazy! I love you Astrid Hofferson. I always have loved you and I'll always be loving you. Ummm... I know I'm probably making a fool out of myself thinking that I have a chance with you but...." just when he was about to finish the sentence he felt a soft pair of lips gently kissing his.
It didn't take Hiccup much time to kiss back. This kiss was different from all the other they shared. It was fulled with passion and love. Her hands traveled to his neck while his found their way to her waist.
They didn't notice the gang looking at them and Heather and Ruffnut who looked at each other and high five.
