May I just say, I had not even read The Mortal Instruments before writing this. when I did, I realized that I made the two main characters so far quite like Jase and Clary, considering the dude's name is Jace, and the girl has red hair... But that was not intended so please don't think I was intentionally copying that. I have actually had someone message me, accusing me of plagiarism and all that jazz. So here's what I'm gonna do. I have now changed the cover. Her hair is not red anymore. I know it's a very minor change, but I do not want to change jace's name, and Im tired of feeling like I just copied someone else's idea, when in reality I knew nothing about these books until after I had written the first two chapters. So I will gradually introduce her new look, ok? Thanks. So please don't accuse me of this when I swear I would never try to do anything like that. I try my best (although I of course will fail sometimes) to be original. Anyways, thanks ya lil' wombats.
