Case 1: Ending

~Sebastian's P.O.V.~

Even though it is much easier to maintain the house since, Mey-Rin, Baldroy, Finny and Tanaka are all dead. Still I missed the colours they added to the Manor. I miss the challenges they put forward every day by messing Now it's all lonely and boring. And looking after Ciel is no fun.

Now time to clean the house. I picked up the duster and started dusting all the ceilings and windows of rooms, halls, recreational room etc well except the study of course. Next I dusted the banister, antiquities, show pieces and paintings. At last I cleaned all the floors and carpets with a broom. I sighed of ease when my work was finished.

Since my work was over I thought of taking a stroll in the garden to kill some time. As I was walking past the the mulberry bush I heard the sweetest voice ever, Meow!

I moved the bush aside to my best companion a cat. I gently picked her up from her refuge and laid her on my lap. I was utterly mesmerized by her beauty. She had emerald green round eyes, softy and shiny coat of ginger fur with jet black stripes, a supple body, her paws pale pink and perfect, her claws perfectly sharp, tail childish but somehow noble.

At two-thirty in the afternoon Ciel called for Sebastian but he didn't appear. "Where the hell is he."  Frustrated Ciel went out of the study and loudly called for him in the hall, still he got no response. Agitated Ciel looked out of the near by window and saw him playing with a cat. His face became red in anger, eye glisten red as he said through the window, "Sebastian quit goofing around and listen to me when I am calling. Come here immediately."

Sebastian heard the angry voice of his master, quickly hid the cat in the bushes and jumped right over the window.

This startled Ciel and he fell on the floor. He got up and dusted himself. "What do mean by coming through the window. Have you forgotten your manners. And how many times do you think I need to call your name to grab your attention. What do think I am."

"Queen's guard dog."

"Sorry, what?"

"My apologises young Lord! I have lived many years but cats are such fickle creatures. I still can't read their moods that's what I simply adore them about."

"Anyway, go and deliver this mail."

"Yes Mi'lord."

Sebastian looked at the address and found that it belonged to Joseph Abberline, son of the deceased inspector Fred Abberline.

Sebastian went to Scotland Yard and kept it on his desk and waited in ambush till Joseph returned from the lunch and saw the mail. After that Sebastian returned to the Manor.

Seeing Sebastian returned Ciel remarked "Even though one thing is still not clear yet I think that my assumptions have eighty percent probability of accuracy. Now all that we have to do is wait for tomorrow's headlines. I'm sure that every newspaper would be satiated with its news."

Inspector Joseph Abberline had just returned from his lunch when he found a white envelope lying on his desk. Confused he opened the anonymous envelope address to him and found that I contained a letter, a newspaper article and a cealed transparent bag containing a cloth with blue base and yellow patterns and tiny shards of glass sticking onto it. He sat on his chair and started reading the letter which unfolded the mystery of the Chancellor's death in a simple way. He subconsciously thanked the anonymous writer of the letter and went towards the  Police Commissioner, Sir Andrew Randall son of Sir.

The next day in the Phantomhive Manor. Sebastian served Ciel with a cup strongly brewed tea, whole wheat biscuits and an ironed copy of  The Daily Telegraph. On its front page was a report entitled, 'Chancellor's Murder Mystery Solved'.
