The party was in full swing with many of Harry's family and friends enjoying the party food and drinks.
As expected, most were surprised at Harry's new job, but pleasantly so and wished him nothing except good luck and good fortune with his travels.
He was currently sitting outside with his friends around a small bonfire, enjoying a cold beer.
"You know Haz, I still can't believe you got this job," Ryan nudged Harry with his knee.
"Me neither," Harry shrugged his shoulders in agreement.
"A nanny," Ryan chuckled, "a goddamn nanny. Hey do you have to wear a cute lil uniform Haz?"
"Well that would make you a naughty nanny," James chortled.
Harry grinned and shook his head, giving them both the middle finger.
"Boys!" Penny scolded them, "I think it's refreshing to see a man want to look after children," she smiled at Harry, "it shows their caring and nurturing side."
"Bullshit, you just want to get into his pants," he laughed.
Penny narrowed her eyes before shaking her head.
"Well if you ever need anything looked after lovely, I'm your man," Ryan grinned at Penny who just glared at him, "but you applied for this when you were drunk right?" he turned his attention to Harry.
"Yep," Harry replied.
"And you didn't actually think you were going to get it, did you?" Ryan continued.
"No, I didn't," Harry answered, taking a sip from his bottle.
Ryan stood up and laid himself across James thighs.
"Spank me nanny, I've been very naughty," he yelled before they both howled with laughter, Harry rolled his eyes and smirked.
"Wait, what was that?" James said, putting his hand over Ryan's mouth.
Suddenly the chair they were both on creaked again under their weight, broke apart and collapsed into a heap on the ground causing everyone around them to roar with laughter.
Harry simply raised his bottle in a salute to them before he kept on drinking.
"Hey Harry," Ryan held his arm up, not making any attempt to sit up, "pass us another beer would you lad?"
Harry obliged and grabbed one out of the esky next to him and passed it down to his friend.
"Cheers mate," he said as he took it from Harry.
A couple of hours later there were the obligatory speeches being made with Harry protesting that he was probably only going to be gone for a year and didn't need such a fuss made.
Then to add to his embarrassment was the going away gift of an Emporio Armani watch that everyone chipped in for.
