I met him at a festival...how does one run into josh dun at a festival wtf...
This wasn't just one average meeting, josh had something more planned when he got to know Abbie a bit more.
I woke up to my phone buzzing like crazy. It was Josh. Jishwa✨: Abbieeee, we need to go. Jishwa✨: you're still asleep aren't you... Jishwa✨: Please don't tell me that you forgot that the festival ends today and if you sleep past the deadline to leave I'll fight you. Jishwa✨: Aaaand you're supposed to be coming with us for the tour😩 it doesn't start until tomorrow but we still need to get to the place. 10 minutes later. Jishwa✨: I'm on my way to wake you up because we've got an hour and you need to pack your things up. The last text was sent 3 minutes ago...shit he's coming and I'm not even remotely ready. I heard my tent open and a yellow haired boy peeped his head through the gap. "Oh my goshhh, I'm so sorry, I completely blanked setting an alarm." I put my head in my hands and laughed. "Don't worry about it but you need to get out of bedddd!" Josh did a weird run to my bed and shook me whilst I was under the covers. "Just let me hide from the world, I'm too tired!" I groaned. I peeped out of my duvet to see that it was still dark out. "LOOK, IF THE SUN'S NOT UP, WHY DO I HAVE TO BE UP?!" I engulfed myself in duvet.
There was a pause for 20 seconds.
All of a sudden I felt big arms scoop me up out of bed. "Fine, if you won't get up, I'll get you up." Josh put me over his shoulder. "Josh!!! What are you doing oh my gosh!" I was so confused as to what was going on because my quilt was still on me and I couldn't see After a few minutes of screaming and laughing Josh finally offered to put me down. "Now are you gonna stop bitching and actually get up?" "Okay, one, watch your profanity, two, yes I am because I'm so excited to come on tour with you." "The one time I say a word that's slightly out of sorts, you pick me up on it." Josh laughs and puts me down. I pick out a final outfit out of my bag and all of a sudden, a thought hits me. "Josh how long are we going on tour for?" "A couple of months, why?" Josh wondered. I turn around in shock. "I don't have even remotely enough clothes for that amount of time!" I cry out. "Well...we will just have to buy you some more." "Josh...I only brought $300 with me...that won't last me." "Who says you have to spend it?" Josh looks up. "Are you implying that I steal?!" I laugh. "What? No! I mean that I'll buy you some stuff, we have enough money as it is." "Awe josh Thad so cute but I can't accept it." "I don't care, I'm paying anyway." I couldn't argue with josh so I just let it be.
I finally picked out an outfit:

"Okay, is this ok?" "Perfect, are you all packed?" The bright haired boy asked. "Pretty much." "Does Sophia know that you're coming with us and it her." "Yes. She's asked Zack to go back with her now anyway so no turning back." "Your mum is ok with this?" "She doesn't really care." "Fair enough. You ready?" I sigh and try to contain my excitement and just nod with a big smile on my face.
I'm kinda glad that Josh didn't ask why my mum wouldn't care if I went on tour with someone...let's just say mine and my mums relationship isn't that great...she's an alcoholic and she has a prick of a boyfriend, my step dad basically turned my mum into an alcoholic with all of the stress that he puts on her. She wouldn't listen to me when I told her to leave him so moved out and I have no sympathy for her seeing as she basically did this to herself.
To be honest this whole tour situation is very weird...I mean I'm going on tour with Josh + Tyler who I haven't really had contact with in months...maybe it's a reconnection thing...I really didn't expect to get asked to come on tour with them...I don't know, it's all still very weird to me. It was 20 minutes till the deadline to leave and me and josh still had to run to the bus with all of my suitcases and duvet. I was sitting on top of a suitcase trying to zip it up whilst Josh was picking up my duvet and 2 other suitcases full of stuff. "Abbie...I swear if we miss the bus." "Josh it's not a public bus...it's not gonna leave without the drummer of the band." Josh paused and looked at me with a funny glare. I finally zipped up the atrocity of a suitcase and just ran out of the tent with it over my head, leaving josh. "BY SOPH! HAVE A GOOD JOURNEY!!!" I back. When I looked back I saw Joshua looking startled as he came out of the tent looking in different directions to see where I went. "COME ON! I BET ILL BEAT YOU THIS TIME." I smirked Josh being the competitive person he is, didn't hesitate to run straight to me. Before looking back at my original direction all I saw was Josh running really fast.
"I-I actually thought I was going t-to win." I said breathlessly. "Sucks to be you." He said as he walked up the bus steps.
In the corner of my eye I see a water bottle gleam in the sunlight which reminds me that I haven't drank or ate anything since last night... I got up and walked to the counter that was on the bus, I saw Tyler getting out his Mario cart game as Jenna patiently waited on the sofa I was previously sitting on. "He really likes that game doesn't he?" I say walking back to the sofa with the bottle in hand. "Ha, yeah, he's even thinking about playing it on stage with fans." Jenna replied. "That sounds sick." "It sucks that they can't interact with the crowd more to be honest..." before I could reply to Jenna, I heard Tyler yell "I GOT IT!" As a bunch of cd's, dvd's and games fell from the shelf he was looking through. Jenna sighed, laughed and put her face to her palm.
"I will win this!!" I scream sticking my tongue out of one side of my mouth. "No you won't!" Josh does the same expression. "You stole our game." Tyler pouts as he leans against the counter with some water. "This is our first game!" Josh says frustrated. "This is your 20th game!!" He sasses.
**YOSHI WINS**
"YES!" I boast. "NO!" Josh groans. "Tyler put me off...wait, what time is it, where's Jenna?" Josh asks curiously. "It's 2am, she went to bed an hour ago...and so did I until you two started yelling." Tyler sips his water. "Yikes...sorry...but not sorry." Josh stands up and stretches. "You and Jenna are just as bad." Tyler glares at josh jokingly and goes back to bed. "Well...we should sleep." "I'm comfy here" I put and moan stretching out on the couch. "Fine, you can stay here and I can go into my comfy bed." "Comfy?" "They're not that great." He admits. "Just stay hereeee" I don't know why I was acting like this, I should have just let him go to sleep...I'm seeming like a real beg. Josh seemed to look surprised at my request but let it happen, he could tell that I was tired. "Thank youuuu" I grin. Josh sits down close to me and I eventually rest my head on his chest and fall asleep.
--------------JOSH POV------------- I don't know what to think, she seems so peaceful and quiet, I can't move away...this feels right but it doesn't at the same time. What am I doing?
I slowly lean my head against hers and let out a sigh...this, this feels right.
