There was so much to be happy for today.

After what seemed like fourteen long months the boys were finally getting out tomorrow morning. Clara was going to finally be able to see Tig, Jax, and Clay again that didn't mean they had to sit at a table while being watched by guards.

The last fourteen months had been complete and utter hell for her and Chibs. She had gotten pregnant, but she didn't know who the baby belonged to and she wasn't ready to be a mother anyway. So she in a desperate attempt, flung herself from Gemma's car while driving down a highway and killed her unborn child.

Although that wasn't how Gemma had told everyone the story -- that Clara had accidentally fallen out of the car door because it wasn't shut well when she went to lean on it. Chibs was devastated to say the least. But they somehow managed to both move on from that horrible incident and got past it.

Tara had her son, Thomas which left Clara with very little free time afterwards. Although Clara didn't want children of her own, didn't stop her from spoiling Thomas and Able both. Even though she and Jax weren't brother and sister, Able still got to calling Clara 'aunt' which made her heart swell that much more.

Back in the Teller-Morrow garage Clara and Chibs both were working closing and finishing up what little they had left to do today before they were both to go home.

Chibs was there working on the car with her when he noticed her blank stare and just how quiet she had become the closer it got to closing time. Normally the young woman wouldn't shut up about whatever it was that was on her mind, but Chibs had been with her long enough now to know that she was deep in thought when she finally did stop speaking.

"Something on ye mind?"

She looked up at him, her blue eyes meeting his own deep brown ones as she gave him a small smile.

"Just nervous I guess. It's been well over a year since the boys had went away. I've gotten to visit them, but now that they're getting out it's just this strange feeling. I'm not really sure how to explain it all that well."

She sighed as she plopped down on the stool and rolled herself over to the tool box. Chibs's eyes followed her as she wheeled across the floor.

She had grown up so much since she first came here to the Club. She had always wanted to join in with the brothers -- be actual part of the family, but Clay and Tig never allowed her to be patched in because of the rules that were set in place for SAMCRO. But he knew that didn't stop Clay from having her do some work for the Club while the rest of them were locked up and unable to do anything.

Chibs sighed, his thoughts landing on Tig and Clara. It took a fool to see that Tig was head over heels for the woman, he protected her as much -- if not more -- than he protected Clay. Not only that but the night that Clara had admitted to him that she had slept with Tig and that she loved the man, well, it made Chibs's heart wrench in his chest at the ideals of what Tig would try to do once he was out of prison tomorrow.

Nobody accept for Gemma, knew about Chibs's and Clara's relationship. But Chibs knew that he would have to take claim on her soon before Tig came swooping in and trying to take her for himself. Clara had told Chibs that Tig didn't feel the same way about her as she felt for Tig -- but Chibs wasn't an idiot. He seen the way Tig looked at Clara, the way he treated her as an actual woman - human - and not just some sex slave like he did with the crows that lingered around the Club.

But he knew, as well as she, that Tig respected Clay far too much to ever do anything with her. To actually take claim on her publicly. Clay and probably even Jax would never let that fly. Tig was the guard dog that wasn't allow to leave the dog house and sleep at the foot of the master's bed, if you understood the meaning.
