The Gymnastics Competition

I woke up at 6:00 in the morning and got ready today was the big day and earlier on at 5 in the morning I got a text from the girls they were ready and coming to pick me up so I had to be ready for them to pick me up.

my purple leotard was in the closet I was so excited I pulled it out and put it on I grabbed my socks and put them on then pulled my hair up in to a pony tail I applied a little bit of foundation and I grabbed my gym bag and shoved my phone in my bag and ran downstairs grabbed a muesli bar and a muffin I was in a hurry because the girls were at the front waiting I also wrote a note to my parents plus it was a Sunday so they would be sleeping in and they said they would meet me at the comp so I left the note on the bench and ran out the door.

I saw the girls and Ryan sitting at the back now try and guess what kind of car I was about to get in. it was a convertible so Ryan was driving and jewel was in front while the two girls were at the back and there was space for one more me.

I jumped in and we drove to the comp the song on the radio started playing ''thinking out loud'' and Ryan turned it up. just over the music I heard my phone ringing so I answered it.

''hello'' I said

''Caitlyn I am at the competition cheering on my sister can we talk I don't want to cause to much stress during your big competition we just need to sort this out face to face'' the voice replied

I guessed straight away who it was it was the one and only Jake. so I covered my hand over the speaker and spoke into it I looked over at my friends and looked over at Ryan and he was looking at me in the rear view glass so I looked away and replied to Jake.

'' look I am on my way to the gym comp now so can we talk after the competition and try to stay over on Heatley side do not come over to the north high side okay the jocks are coming as well to cheer us on okay I got to go see ya soon'' I replied

I hung up

I looked over at my friends and shoved my phone into the bag. I guess everyone did not notice I was on the phone because everyone was singing to the words to the song so I joined in ignoring Ryan's glares at me when the song was done. we had already I arrived at the big gymnastics stadium were the competition was happening.

we all jumped out of the car before I shut my door everyone had walked into the gymnasium. I turned around and Ryan was right in front of me I tried to walk around him but he stood in my way.

''um excuse me I have a comp to get to'' I said politely

''yeah I know'' he replied

''so can I go'' I said

''oh yeah sure you can I just have a question'' he replied

''well ok but hurry up'' I said

''who was on the phone'' he replied

''none of your business it was between me and the person on the phone not between me and you'' I replied

he looked at me stunned then he replied

''well okay sorry just letting you know I will be cheering for you okay'' he said

''okay thanks your the best'' I said

I gave him a kiss on the cheek and walked inside

when I walked into the gymnasium I heard the song playing really loud ''scars to your beautiful''

I walked over to my team and looked across the gymnasium and I saw a big sign Heatley high I ignored the sign I looked behind me where I saw the cheerleaders and I saw the jocks I was so happy they came to cheer us on I looked over at the jocks I saw mason and jewel talking and then I saw Ryan walking over to them and dragging mason away and having a stern talk to him and then they looked over at Heatley.
