making up my mind

it was 7:00 in the morning I could not fall back to sleep so I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs. I went into the kitchen and  ate some cereal and I felt sick in the stomach for some reason I had a really big headache.

before I could put my dish in the sink the doorbell rang.

I walked to the door and my three friends were at the door holding a massive trophy which I was guessing was from our gymnastics competition. I felt a rush of excitement go through  me and I forgot about how sick I felt.

I let them in and they went into the lounge room and I ran upstairs. I gave my face a wipe then applied a little bit of foundation the tied my hair up in a high ponytail then grabbed some short jeans and a loose shirt with my converses and with that I rushed out the door grabbing my phone on the kitchen counter shoving my phone into my pocket. I ran to the lounge room and got the girls but first they had something to say of course they did.

''um Katie we want you to have this plus you earned it for us anyways'' said jewel

'' oh thanks put  it on the kitchen table please'' I replied

''okay'' jewel said

I watched as she walked over to the kitchen table and put the trophy down then we walked out I shut the door and locked it.

we walked over to the car I looked up and I saw the face I was dreading to see. Ryan unfortunately was driving the car i was quick to make up an excuse in my head.

''hey guys um I just remembered my mum wanted me to stop by the post office to post something so I will just walk to the post office and I  will meet you guys at school'' I said

''oh are you sure'' asked renae

''um yeah'' I replied

''okay see you at school'' said calamity

with that I watched as they drove off.

I did not have anything to post I just wanted to get away from Ryan.

I walked to school and when I reached the entrance I was greeted  by two familiar faces one of Ryan's friends and Ryan's brother.

''hey  I just need to  go class so if I could just get through'' I said

Ryan's brother dragged me away from the entrance

''look I cannot see what my brother or my sister see in you but I have heard your pretty amazing so I am just going to go by that information okay'' he said sharply

''uh okay'' I replied

''you see my brother got dumped lately and being the captain of the footy team he has a responsibility to lead the team but now that he has been dumped he is a depressed leader and we really need him to focus so could you I don't know but take him back'' he said

''excuse me NO! do you guys know what you guys are asking me to do look you are just as bad as your brother I cant believe you there is no chance that I am taking him back'' I replied coldly

''well okay could you at least try'' he replied

''I said NO can you guys understand English stuff this! I am late for class do you know what he did no you guys don't you guys just want your captain back well I am so sorry but no'' I said

I stepped around them and was about to walk in the entrance.

''what did he do'' he asked

I turned around and I just could not do anything but explode

'' GOD YOU GUYS ARE SO DUM HE CHEATED ON ME OKAY DON'T EVER TALK TO ME AGAIN OKAY YOU AND HIM SHOULD JUST GET OUT OF MY LIFE OKAY AND STAY OUT!!! '' I yelled at the top of my voice.

I sat on the oval for a while trying to calm down then walked back inside.

after 6 minutes I knew I was late but I had to sort this out so I went to Ryan's class and pulled him out.

''whoa what do you want'' he asked looking stunned

''if your thinking for one second that I am going to take you back I am not okay your stupid brother and you friend confronted me this morning and made me late for class.'' I replied

''I am so sorry I do not know why they did that'' he replied

''look whatever I just want to tell you that you should just focus on being the best captain you can be for your team and by the way I hate your guts I don't want see you ever again and you know what that friend of your's what's her name oh that's it that son of a Bianca should go die in a hole and you too okay I can never ever get back together with you again I am so sorry your team needs you more than I need you bye'' I said coldly

''no if I died in a hole with Bianca my heart would feel empty but if I died in a hole with you my heart would be filled. please we don't have to date just be best friends and I need you more than I will ever need my team okay my team is for winning and losing, with you I will always win'' he replied with a smile.

I couldn't help but blush and smile.

'' really Ryan your going to use that catchphrase'' i replied

he gave me a look of dissatisfaction

 ''fine best friends it is and nothing more'' I replied

with that we hugged and he went off to class so I had to make up my mind and there it was Ryan and I were just going to be friends but you  never know maybe we would become more than that LOL.

I went to class but it was already period 2 I knew I would have a detention but it was worth it so it didn't care. the song started to play in my head marry you by Bruno mars.

I was so happy that class flew by so fast and it was lunch. we all met up and sat at our table and enjoyed our lunch even the jocks seemed happier the girls knew the whole story so they knew why I was so happy.

over across from us I could see a jock smiling at me then I looked at my watch and I remembered I was leaving early for an appointment with my chiropractor.

I said bye to the girls and ran to my locker than I felt someone behind me and I knew who it was

''oh hey'' I said

''hey where you going'' he asked

''well got to leave early soz see you later'' I replied

''yeah okay look you want to catch a movie sometime later on tonight'' he asked

''okay sure bye'' I replied

I shut my locker and gave him a hug and ran outside and saw my mum's car I got in and we drove to my appointment.
