I'm currently at Starbucks with Beth because we really wanted coffee so she drove us here.
Beth told the cashier what she wanted and I told him what I wanted. We go to the other side of the room where we wait for our names to be called.
"I'm gonna use the restroom, I'll be right back." Beth says.
I nod then she walks away. I sigh and look around the room waiting patiently for our names to be called.
My phone starts ringing so I walk outside to answer it because it's too loud inside Starbucks.
"Hello?" I answer as I walk outside.
Nobody says anything.
"Hello?" I say again.
"Is anybody gonna talk?" I roll my eyes and hang up.
Just as I'm about to walk back into Starbucks, I feel somebody grab me and cover my mouth with his hand. I start to freak out so I kick desperately trying to get out of their grasp.
He takes me into an alley and throws me on the ground.
I look up to see the guy from last night that I saved from being shot by Xavier.
I gasp and try to get up but he throws me back down.
"What do you want?!" I yell.
"Oh sweetie, I wanted to thank you again for saving me last night." He says creepily.
"That's your way of trying to say thank you?!" I yell angrily.
"Lower your damn voice." He hisses.
"No! Leave me-"
He pulls out a knife and points it at me. "I said lower your fucking voice."
I instantly shut up. I'm so confused, I saved him last night and now he's trying to kill me?!
"You know, you're very beautiful." He says walking around me touching my arm.
I gulp nervously as he lightly strokes my arm. "You're mine." He says lowly in my ear.
I close my eyes and start to shake. "Please let me go."
"Aw, baby what's wrong?" He says grabbing my cheek.
"What the hell is going on?!" I hear Beth yell.
I open my eyes to see Beth with wide eyes.
"And who's this?" He says smirking.
"Let go of her!" She yells.
Next thing you know Xavier shows up. It's like he's everything I go. "Matt, leave her alone." He says angrily.
Beth walks up slowly towards us. "Beth no stop." I say warning her.
Xavier grabs her arm to pull her back. "What the hell? This is bullshit. He just can't harass her like that!" She snaps.
