Chapter 17

Sarah's pov

Victoria literally looked like a prostitute. I couldn't believe she could walk out the house looking like that. It was only the first day of school and she was already trying to steal my boyfriend.

"Shut the fuck up about my boyfriend you prostitute!!" I screamed at her as she was trying to imply that her and Cameron slept together.

She slapped me in the face. Good thing it didn't hurt at all. I was about to punch her when Cameron grabbed my hand before I could do anything.

We went to the front office to get our schedules.

"We have precal, lunch period, an off period, and chemistry together" he said comparing our schedules.

"Cool" I said leaning against his toned chest. He wrapped his arms around me and we walked out of the office into the halls. We picked out our lockers and waited for the bell.

"Where is everybody??" I asked looking around seeing that we were the only ones there.

"In the parking lot probably" he said taking a step closer to me.

He pulled me into him and I put my hands on his chest. He ran his hands down to my hips and lifted me up so our lips were level. I leaned in when the bell rang and everybody rushed into the hallways. I smiled and looked down.

"Time to go find Lacy!!" I said turning to the side. I walked off and started to look for my best friend.

"Hey Sarah!!" a familiar voice shouted. It was Lacy's voice.

"Lacy!!" I said excitedly running towards her. She was wearing a coral peplum top and khaki colored skinny jeans. Her hair was in a fishtail braid and she had a pair of nude flats on her feet.

"You look hot!!" she said to me in her best guy voice. I laughed at her terrible impression.

"Guess who I ran into in the parking lot" I asked as we walked towards her locker.

"Please tell me it was Victoria" she pleaded with a fake evil smile on her face.

"Yeah it was her. Dressed like a street hooker. She was trying to get Cameron and it was disgusting" I said giving her the juicy details.

"Well if it isn't Cameron's little toy" Victoria said in her screechy voice.

"What could you possibly want now??" I said putting as much poison in my polite words as possible. "Didn't you get enough of my face in your hand earlier??"

"Nope, bitch" she spat. "I'm back for more" I smirked at her words. She had no idea what she was getting herself into.

"What else are you gonna do?? Do your 'breasts' detach as weapons??" I asked with curiosity in my voice. Everyone was staring at us by now waiting for a cat fight or something.

She raised her hand to slap me again when an older lady grabbed her hand just in time.

"Victoria Rodgers!!" she yelled. "What do you think you're doing??!" she said abruptly.

"Oh" Victoria said nervously. "Mrs. Jose I was just uh.... I uh... I can explain!" she stalled and I smiled at her.

"It doesn't look like there's much to explain here" Mrs. Jose said. "You're coming with me" and she lead Victoria down the hallway.

"Wow" Lacy said. "Victoria really hates you" she said trying to hold in her laughter.

"Yeah" I agreed. "This is gonna be a fun year" I said sarcastically.

"Anyway. Let's see what classes we have together!!" she said excitedly grabbing my schedule.

"English, a free period, lunch, and.... ugh!! Is that it??" she said disappointed.

"Hey, Lace" I said grabbing her arm. "It's way better than nothing right" I assured her.

"True dat!!" she said in a surprisingly good thug voice. I laughed again at her impression.

"Hey Dallas!" Lacy said and I turned around to see my wonderful boyfriend. He took my hand and greeted Lacy.

"You ready for precal??" he asked.

"It's now or never!!" I yelled dramatically and he laughed.

Cameron's pov

Stupid bell!! We were just about to kiss when the beginning bell rang.

"Time to go find Lacy!!" Sarah said perkily and she turned around the corner to find her best friend.

"Yo, Dallas!!" my friend, Kyle said walking up to me. We weren't good friends but I guess he was cool.

"Hey Kyle" I said nodding at him.

"Is that your girlfriend??" he asked with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah" I said smiling at the thought of her and me.

"Dude, she is hoooot!!" he said licking his lips. "If you don't tap that soon I think I'd have to myself" he said. It took all the will power I had in me to not knock him out right there.

"Yeah, and then I'd kill you afterwords" I said bluntly. He looked surprised.

"Hey man" he said raising his hands up. "Chill out, it was just a joke" he said and he walked off.

This was exactly what I was trying to avoid. Sarah getting caught up with other guys. But, I knew she loved me so I had nothing to worry about. Right?? I went off to find Sarah before anyone else could.

"Hey Dallas!" Lacy said when I found her. Sarah turned around and I held on to her hand. She smiled up at me.

"You ready for precal??" I asked her walking towards our first period together.

"It's now or never!!" she shouted and she looked like she was getting ready for a boxing match instead of a math class. I laughed at her adorable enthusiasm and we walked inside the classroom just in time for the bell.

"Hey hey hey!!!" Russell yelled as we walked in.

"Russell!!" Sarah yelled running towards him. We took the two empty seats next to him. We started talking and catching up with each other when the teacher walked in.

"Good morning class!!" he greeted us with extra pep. "I really hope you like where you're sitting now because these will be your seats for the rest of the year. Unless of coarse I have to move any of you" he warned. And he started talking about boring class rules and expectations and crap.

I could tell Sarah was bored too cuz she was twirling her hair absentmindedly. I grabbed a piece of paper out of my backpack and wrote

"Hey beautiful" I folded up the paper and placed it on her desk. She looked over at me and smiled. Then, she took the paper, unfolded it, and smiled again.

"Good morning my prince (insert ladylike curtsy here)" she wrote and I smiled at her cleverness.

We passed notes the rest of the period.
