Chapter 15

Sarah's pov

Tomorrow was the first day of school and I was pretty psyched. I didn't really have to worry about friends cuz I already had Cameron, Lacy, Marshall, Russell, Rachel, Lewis, Destiny, and Chris. And me and Lacy were gonna go school shopping. I walked down the stairs wearing my Jack Daniels muscle tee with a dark red skater skirt and sheer tights. I had my favorite combat boots on and I was ready to go.

"Alright dad we're out!" I yelled to him.

"Ok!" he yelled back from his room.

"Let's go" Lacy said dragging me out to my car and she hopped in the passenger's seat. She connected her phone to the Bluetooth as I turned on the car. Waking Up In Vegas by Katy Perry started playing as we drove out of the garage.

Lacy threw her hands up and we both started singing along.

We arrived at the Chino Hills Mall. There were tons of malls in the area, but this one was the biggest mall.

"Forever 21?" Lacy asked as we walked inside.

"Duh" I said and we turned into one of my favorite stores.

I picked out a dark blue varsity jacket, two oversized knit sweaters, a peplum top, three pairs of skinny jeans, and ten little mini hair bows. And if you think I got alot of clothes, you should've seen how much stuff Lacy got. She was the only girl I knew that had as many clothes as I did.And it took us like twenty minutes to get through check out.

We headed to Pacsun and I got a heart cut out skater dress and three cardigans.

"You hungry??" Lacy asked patting her stomach.

"Yeah I'm starving" I said and we headed to the food court.

We were on the escalator when some guy almost pushed me down.

"I'm so sorry!!" he exclaimed. "Are you ok??" he asked worried.

"Yeah I'm fine" I said picking up my shopping bags. I looked above me and saw a pretty handsome guy with bright blue eyes and sandy brown hair.

"But you do realize that I almost just died right??" I exaggerated. I gave him a smile so he wouldn't feel bad. He laughed and walked off the escalator with me and Lacy.

"My name's Rudy by the way" he said. And I threw another smile. Ok now he was getting kind of annoying. I tried to walk faster, but he kept catching up.

"I'm really sorry" he apologized trying took catch my eye. "Let me take you out sometime" he said with a glint in his eyes. I stopped in the middle of my tracks.

"Dude, she's not into you!" Lacy said loudly and I laughed.

"Lacy calm down" I said controlling my laughter.

"I'm sorry about her" I said turning to Rudy. "My name's Sarah and I have a boyfriend"

"Well that's awkward" he said laughing. "Uuhh....Maybe I'll see you around Sarah" he said and he gave me his number.

"Ugh!!" I groaned. "Why are guys so clueless??" I asked annoyed as we sat down with our chick-fil-a lunches.

"You better get used to it" Lacy smirked. "Rudy was practically identical to the entire male population of Redwood High" she explained. I laughed at her observation.

"I don't care" I said shrugging my shoulders. "I'm super excited for our junior year!!" I said doing a little happy dance in my seat.

We had been taking about applying to Juilliard together for weeks. I planned on being a dancer. I've only been in love with dancing for my entire life. Ok, so I was into gymnastics mostly, but dancing was a much better way of expression. And Lacy was an incredible actress.

We talked alot about school and stuff. After like 20 minutes we decided it was time to get up. So we threw our trash away and headed for Urban Outfitters.

Lacy's pov

Sarah and I were getting alot of attention from guys here and it was pretty annoying. After we finished eating and talking, we headed for Urban Outfitters. They had the best tshirts. I bought like seven crop tops and three pairs of jeans and a new phone case to go with my new iPhone 5s that my mom got me last week.

We were walking out the door when I saw a familiar face.

"Ugh" I groaned.

"What is it??" Sarah asked.

"It's Victoria, the school slut slash bitch" I said pointing to the girl with horribly bleached blonde hair and an obvious boob job.

"Eww" Sarah cringed when she saw her. "Her boobs look like really round rocks" she laughed.

"Oh god" I said when she started walking towards us.

"Well look who we have here" she said. and her three followers behind her laughed automatically. "Bitch 1 and Bitch 2" she said and they laughed again.

"That's funny" Sarah started politely. "I don't think we've even met before and you're already calling me a bitch" she said coolly.

"Hey Sarah" I stopped her. "It must take one to know one right??" I asked turning back to Victoria.

"Listen Two-Facey" Victoria began, calling me that retarded nickname she came up with in like the third grade. But, Sarah stopped her by laughing.

"Two-Facey??" she exclaimed hysterically. "What the hell does that mean??" she asked.

"I don't even know. She came up with that one in like the second grade" I explained.

"Well anyway Vic" I said grabbing Sarah's arm. "We gotta go"

"It was really horrible meeting you!!" Sarah said waving to Victoria.

"I've never seen anyone so fake!!" Sarah said while she was still in earshot.

"You ready to go??" I asked.

"Yeah let's get outta here" she agreed and we left the mall.
