Sarah's pov

Uugghhh!!! I'm pretty sure that it's scientifically impossible for Mr. Kennan, the preCal teacher to be any more boring. Thank god Cameron could sense my boredom and we started passing notes.

Finally the class ended.

"I think I lost a few brain cells listening to him" I told Russell as we walked out the class. He laughed at my exaggeration and headed to his next class.

"Next for me is dance" I told Cameron when he caught up with me.

"Have fun my little ballerina!" he said and pointed me in the direction of the school's dance studio. I made my way towards the double doors.

I walked into the a big room with wooden floors and wall-to-wall mirrors.

"Well!" a woman in her 30s walked swiftly towards me. "Everyone!!" she said getting everybody's attention. "This is our new student, Sarah...Aliberti!!" she announced enthusiastically.

The room was full of girls my age, they were all dress in tights and loose shirts. They all were extremely friendly. And not a Victoria in sight.

"We should probably get you changed" one girl with strawberry blonde hair said leading me to the dressing rooms. An the entire class followed.

"My name is Carissa" she said handing me a pair of light grey tights and a soft pink crop top.

"Thanks Carissa" I said taking off my clothes and putting on the outfit she gave me.

"And I'm Zoe" a short girl with her light brown hair in a pixie cut. Then, the whole class introduced themselves and I told them about me.

"I really like gymnastics alot, but dancing is way more fun and it's a good way to express yourself " I said when a girl named Julia asked me if I like anything else besides dancing.

Then we started talking about boys.

"Well, we all know who Sarah's dating" Julia said and we all laughed

After like 10 minutes in the dressing room, we decided it was time to do some actual dancing.

"Do I need shoes or anything??" I asked Carissa.

"If you have ballet slippers then take them out but don't wear them cuz we might not even need them" she told me. I dug in my backpack for my nude colored ballet slippers.

"Those are really nice!!" she said.

"Thanks" I said as we walked out the dressing room.

Gia, the dance instructor was really nice and fun. She was young too so she was easy to talk to. We warmed up and went straight into ballet.

I put on my slippers and joined everyone at the bar.

"First position!" she said. And we did exactly what she said.

After we went through some routines, it was time to change.

"You're really good Sarah!" Julia exclaimed as we took off our clothes.

"Why are you so surprised?" I asked pretending to be hurt.

She laughed and said, "Well, every time we get a new girl, she ends up sucking at dance and gets kicked out the class" she explained.

"Oh" I said thoughtfully, as I took my hair out of its bun and brushed it out. Julia did the same with her long dirty blonde hair. I finished putting my clothes on and grabbed my backpack as the bell rang.

"What's you're next block??" she asked.

"Lunch" I told her.

"Me too!!" she said excitedly and we walked to the cafeteria together.

Cameron's pov

"Looks like my little ballerina's back" I said as I saw Sarah walk in the cafeteria. She was standing next to Julia. I was glad she was already making more new friends.

"Please don't call me that" she giggled. And I lead her to my table.

"Hey guys" she greeted the guys and sat down in between me and Lacy.

"There you are Sarah!! We haven't seen you in forever!!" Lewis said in a stereotypical valley girl voice. We all laughed and talked and compared schedules.

I had most of my classes with Chris and the others with Sarah. This was gonna be an awesome year!!

"Have you guys heard about the party on Friday??" Julia started.

"Yeah" Sarah said crossing her legs. "Some guy named Dylan gave me his number and said that I should come and bring Cam" she said looking at me and smiling.

"Cool" Lewis said. "We should all go together" he suggested and we all agreed.

The lunch bell rang and it was time to go. Sarah, Lacy, and Julia went off to English class. Me and Russell headed to geography.

"So" I started as we took some seats in the middle of the room. "You and Julia" I said wiggling my eyebrows.

"What are you talking about??" he asked while his face got red.

"Dude don't even try. You totally like her!!" I said punching his shoulder.

"Alright I think she's pretty cute" he confessed.

"Well maybe Sarah could hook you up" I told him when class started.

The day went by pretty quickly. For the off period, I took Sarah on a tour around campus. Apparently, Redwood High is way nicer than her old school.

I had a class with Victoria too. Yay. She was all over me the entire time and her perfume was making my eyes water. I told her I was allergic to it and she finally backed off.

At 4:15 the day finally ended and I went to find Sarah. Ugh!!! She was talking to Kyle.

"C'mon baby, you can leave Cameron and me and you can have some real fun" he said cornering her into the lockers. I ran up and pushed him off her.

"Leave her alone asswipe!!!!" I yelled and I punched him to the ground. Sarah grabbed my hand before I could do any more damage.

"I'm alright babe" she said moving my hand around her waist. My heart was racing and I was breathing hard. It just pissed me off so bad when someone tried to hurt her. She was so delicate. And I felt like it was my job to protect her.
