Chapter Eleven

I know I said Friday morning, I'm sorry. My weekend started on Thursday and all the days now look blurred together. Anyway, here it is. Enjoy!

Athens, Greece.

Why Greece?

I couldn't tell.

Maybe it had something to do with the Greek Hank of a man I couldn't get out of my mind.

Maybe?

It definetly did.

For that was where my impromptu flight took me.

I was soon in a cab headed for the Greek Platon Franchise headquarters knowing all to well that Alec would still be working.

Alec's POV.

I was just finishing off a day's work regardless of the fact that it was a Saturday when I heard my door open.

"I thought I told you you're done for the day." I called not lifting my head thinking it was my secretary.

My words were ignored as approching footsteps neared me before my chair was pulled back and my lips crushed by soft familiar ones.

I kissed her back, my hands, on their own accord, taking the opportunity to explore her. Her hands were in my hair as one of my hands slipped under her ill fitting work clothes.

I pushed myself to my feet not breaking the kiss, only deepening it when she gave way for my tongue. My hands moved to her back before moving down. I stopped and squeezed her cheeks before moving further down and hooking my hands under her thighs and hoisting her onto my desk.

I stood between her legs while we drunk hungrily from each other and she pushed off my suit jacket. We broke contact as she tugged my tie off.

She was starting on my shirt buttons when I stopped her.

"Baby baby..... Stop!" I said cradling her face forcing her to look up at me. My heart clenched at her tear filled eyes that were blotchy from crying.

"Please Alec." She cried pulling me to her again.

"What's all this?"

She pushed me away before sliding off the desk fixing herself up. "I shouldn't have come here."

"Hey, where are you going?" I launched myself in her path grabbing her by the waist only for her to rain soft meaningful blows on my chest.

"Let go of me!" She demanded but I only pulled her closer to me until she was nothing more than a sobbing mess in my arms. I led her to the couch in my office where I sat down and pulled her onto my lap.

I whispered softly into her ear and her breathing slowed, her sobs ceased and she was soon fast asleep.

My day's work was interrupted but I had other matters to attend to. My driver would be waiting for me downstairs by now. I carried her in my arms bridal style and opting to pick up my things later, I headed out the door.

The drive wasn't long as I cradled her in my arms not putting her down for even a moment. My driver said nothing as he ushered me out of the car only inquiring if I needed anything.

I asked him to call Sophie as soon as possible. I needed to call my sister.

I reached my penthouse with the help of one of the guards who'd helped open doors and the elevator.

I thanked him and he left after closing my door.

I walked to my room where I managed to pull back the covers and after loosening her skirt and taking off her suit jacket and blouse leaving her in a flimsy white vest, I fought the urge to touch her. She looks divine. I tucked her in and quietly closed the door.

I dialed Athena's number and she picked up on the third ring.

"Hey sweetie? What's up?"

"Could you come over for a while? I'm in need of a woman's perspective."

"Ooh sounds serious. I'm on my way." She said then hang up.

"Kúple?" A soft voice called from the door. "You called for me?"

(Sir)

"Vtavtà. Yes I did." I sighed in relief when Sophia walked up to me. She has been my loving nanny since my childhood. She is like a second mother to me and my sister, Athena.

(Nanny)

"A lady friend of mine came to me in distress and she needs some well cooked food."

"Oh but son you're quite the chef yourself. Why do you need me?"

"I think she'd like a mother's touch if not more for reassurance. Plus I need to rush back to the office to pick up my things. My sister is on her way but until then I don't want to leave her alone." I explained.

"Okay my son. Go ahead. I'll take good care of her."

"Thank you vtavtà." I said as I gave her a kiss on her cheek before leaving.

I rushed back to the office to get my unfinished work this time taking my own car when I found a pacing Justin outside my hotel.

"Oh thank God you're here. I was just asking for your home address when I was informed you had already left the office." He said rushing towards me.

"What are you doing here Justin?"

"Reece is missing! Could you have heard from her or maybe she stopped by here?"

Something told me he had a part in Reece's state so I lied.

"No. I haven't seen or heard from her. I can make a few calls, ask around. I'll let you know if I find her."

"I knew I could count on you. Thank you." He said as he turned to leave.

"Oh Justin," I paused, "keep me informed on your end of the search."

"Will do. Gotta rush. Thanks again."

I quickly rushed to my office and was grabbing my stuff when my phone rang.

"What is it Sophia?" I asked as soon as I picked up.

"The Miss is awake and is asking for you."

I thought we'd learn a little Greek, though I have no idea how the words are pronounced. It's a bit short but there's much more to come. Thanks again for reading. Lemme know what you think.
