Blood Moon

Chapter 3

"I was born in 1900. My mum was a werewolf, dad a vampire. So im half and half. I ripped myself out of my mothers stomach, killing her. Over the years our family has grown from two to six. My father Charlie, has the ability to see the past, Zaire can control water, Haven can sense when someones lying, Tux has excellent self control and is faster than normal, and Felix, well hes human, i adopted him when i lived in Volterra with the Volturi. I lived with the Volturi for fifteen years, because Aro sees my power as very useful, i have the ability to heal and im a shield, so no one can use their powers on me. I have human, wolf and vampire characteristics, I drink blood and eat human food, I blush, i sleep, I'm strong and fast, my skin is cold but not as cold as vampires I bleed but I also heal fast and my heart beats faster than normal and i can obviously shift into a wolf." I explain. Their faces show they're very confused and shocked.

"Whats the Volturi like?" Emmet questions. "It wasnt too bad, with my gift i was made Aros main body guard. The worst thing was probably that they didnt really like me drinking animal blood so i changed to human but since the move im of course now i am back to my old diet." I say but didnt add the part where i prefered human blood because its so much better. "If your Aros main body guard how did you get out of the Volturi? They wouldn't just let you leave." Alice asks. "Well i woke up one morning and missed my family so i went to Aro and said 'im going home, ill be back in few years.' Then i left." I tell them. This shocked them even more.

After about two hours of talking with the Cullen's I decide to leave. I don't feel like going home yet so instead I decide to hunt. I start going full speed, my hair whipping in the wind. I smell two deers a few miles to the west, but apparently someone else does to because when I arrive someone else pounces on one of the deer, forcing me to take on the smaller one. I finish my deer before the other vampire so I pull away and realise it's just Alice. "Long time no see..." I say and she laughs a little. "Hey I want to show you something." She says and I obviously follow her, quite curious as to what she had to show me.

It wasn't that far and only took a few minutes. She's taken me to a part of the river I haven't seen before, it was right near the waterfall and there was a big rock almost my height that was flat on top. She sits on the rock and I sit next to her. "So is it the rock you wanted to show me or the waterfall?" I joke. If she was human I feel like she would be blushing. "Well I think it is just everything, I like to come here to think, clear my head." She explains, running her hand through her short spiky hair. "Well I'm honoured to be invited to your thinking place." I say and she just laughs. Her laugh is beautiful, like her.

"Can I ask you something, you don't have to answer." She asks with a small smile, her smiles so beautiful that I just couldn't say no. "Sure, ask me anything." She looks nervous so I put my hand on her lap to reassure her. "Do you like human blood or animal blood better?" That definitely wasn't what I was expecting but I guess I have to answer now. "Human..." I mutter, quite ashamed. "Hey no need to be ashamed,"she puts her arm around me to make me feel better, "you wouldn't of even tasted human blood if it were for the volturi." I really wasn't expecting her to take it that well but she did. "My turn, so do you have any powers?" I was rather curious about her and her family. "I can see the future, but only when someone decides something and Edward can also reads minds." I notice is getting quite late and my dad gets worried so easily. "Do you want to continue this at my house? You can meet my family?" I suggest and she says yes.

We get to my house in 30 seconds where we are greeted by Felix. "Hey Fi, sorry to keep you waiting, this is Alice." Felix hugs her, well her legs really because he's so small. I laugh and pick him up. By now the whole family is down stairs. Alice already knows their names but doesn't know who is who so I point them all out to her before we head to my room.

We ask each other question after question after question. I yawn and check the clock, 3 am. "If your tired you can go to sleep." She says and I nod. I lay down and lay the bed next to me for her to join me. We don't talk much now, just stare into each other's eyes. I want to close the space between us, feel her cool body against my skin. I glance down at her lips and back up to her eyes. I want to kiss her but I'm scared I'll scare her away. She leans in closer and I do the same until our faces are only centimetres apart, then I close the space and place my lips on hers.
