Blood Moon

Chapter 6

*~*Alice's POV*~*
I wake up in a dark room, my eyes try to adjust to the darkness but it's just black. That's odd vampires don't sleep but I was just asleep. Maybe I'm dead? The last thing I remember was being in the Forrest with Bella. How did I get here? Why am I here? My throat burns with thirst, surely if I was dead I wouldn't be so thirsty.

How long have I been here, days? Weeks? Months? There's no way of knowing. The room smelt old and musky and has a tinge of wet dog...? I start to panic and try to punch the wall but it does nothing. The wall doesn't even budge. Who is doing this? I swear I'll kill them. If they touch Bella I am going to make them wish they were never born.

"It's no use trying to punch the walls, I already tried." A semi familiar voice says. "Leah?" I ask not even sure that's her name. "Yes it's me, Felix is also here but they took him out when they brought you, they thought you'd drink his blood because he's human and you're literally thirsting to death." She says in a croaky voice. She must be thirsty, that makes me think we've been here a while. "I would never, I'd rather thirst to death." I spit. "That's what you think now, but when the thirst takes over you you won't be able to stop yourself, anyway this isn't the point, do you know what that means? They obviously don't want us dead, well not yet anyway." Leah croaks. She does have a point, if they wanted us dead we already would be.

"What do you think they want?" I ask even though I doubted she knew. "Well they took the 3 people who mean a lot to Bella so I'm guessing they're trying to get to Bella." Leah suggests and then it clicks in my brain. "They want Bella. They took us cause they knew she'd come find us."

*~*Bella's POV*~*

It's been a week and there's not a trace of them anywhere, but I'm never going to stop looking until I find them. "Bella, you need to hunt or at least eat some human food. You haven't eaten in a week, you're getting weak. You're going to starve yourself to death." Charlie worriedly says but I shake my head. "I'm fine for now. The faster we find them the faster I can eat."

I say walking out of the room to the living room where all the Cullen's except Alice sat. I sit next to Emmett on the couch. Nobody talks, we all just sit there quiet. Esme dry sobbing into Carlisle's shoulder is the only sound throughout the whole house. Even Emmett is quiet which is saying something.

After a few minutes I can't take it anymore and leave the house, once I'm at the edge of the Forrest I am met with white fur and huge paws.  Nobody follows me, and I'm not surprised. They probably think I'm going hunting or just need some time to think. The wolves on patrol try to talk to me but I ignore them. I'm not sure where I'm headed but it doesn't really matter right now. As long as it's not here.

About 150 miles away from Forks I find Alice's phone in the middle of the woods. Her captors probably dumped it here. It doesn't turn on and appears to be broken, probably because of all the rain. I must be getting closer. I sniff to try catch a scent and I surprisingly find one, it's Alice's and an two unfamiliar vampires. I follow it for about 5 miles but it ends in the middle of nowhere again. This makes me mad. Mad at the vampires that took them and mad at myself because I'm never going to find them.

I phase back into a human and sit against one of the trees. My legs burn after all the running and I have tiny little scratches on my arms and legs from sticks while I was running. They're gone in a few seconds thanks to fast healing. I was really tired, surely it wouldn't hurt having a quick nap to strengthen myself a little bit. I close my eyes and fall fast asleep.

When I wake up I'm not in the Forrest anymore. Instead of the soft ground I am laying flat on a hard and cold surface, concrete I think.  The rooms dark, so dark that even with amazing eyesight I can't see a thing. I get up and feel for the wall and start kicking and punching but there's no use, I'm not getting out any time soon. The room smells so bad, like thousands of burning bodies. I try listen for any sounds outside the room but I hear nothing, it must be sound proof.

After a few hours I hear the door opening. Please be food I pray, my throat was burning with thirst, I should of hunted when I was told to. "Hello Bella, my names Dr William Oliver the second, I'm a supernatural scientist. You my friend I have been trying to catch for a week  and then you gave me my chance when you decided to have a nap right above my lair. I even didn't have to inject you with anything to get you in here like the others." He laughs a vicious laugh and if I wasn't so weak I would kill him. I snarl at him. "You better not hurt them." I hiss through clenched teeth. "Now now Bella, don't ware you're self out too much, it's time for your first test."
