Blood Moon

Chapter 1

"Wazaire Alister Junior! Put that water back in the pool now!" My father Charlie screeches at him. He smirks at him and lets all the water drop causing a small tsunami of waves, soaking everyone. I should be killing him for ruining my clothes for my first day of school but I just join in on his laughing. I quickly go upstairs and change my clothes and join my family in the garage, all arguing over whos car we were going to take to school, i didnt bother offering my lamborghini that Aro bought for me, because one, it would attract too much attention and two, i hate letting anyone else even near my car let alone in it. "Tux's car will attract the least attention." i say, finishing the conversation and getting in the front seat of his mercedes. Tux smiles at his victory while the others groan. Even though we live a fair way out of town were at school in no time thanks to Tux's speeding. There is plenty of parks left but Tux chooses the far corner next to a silver volvo.

Me, Haven and Tux on a table under a tree outside the front office while Zaire collects our schedules. Mine and Zekes are the same because are both juniors and Haven and Tux's are the same too because theyre both sophomores. My schedule is:

English

Art

Calculus

Spanish

Lunch

Biology

Gym

The reason Zeke is in all my classes is because I recently lived with the Volturi and they werent so nice about me drinking animal blood so i gave in and changed to human and i havent been around more than twenty humans and when i was i usually drank their blood, so just in case he will always be with me.

After going to our lockers, me and Zaire head to our first class and so do Haven and Tux. After introducing ourselves i take a seat next to a girl with spiky brown hair at the back while Zaire sits at the front next to a boy with a baby face and light hair. As soon as i sit down i stiffen. This girl with the spiky brown hair is a vampire. I feel my irregular heartbeat speed up. Im frozen for a minute but i regain myself when i realise she has golden eyes, shes a 'vegetarian'. "Hi im Alice." She says with a huge smile and i realise something. She's quite beautiful. "Bella, nice to meet you."

Everytime i would sneak a glance at her she woud already be looking, I didnt know if she was staring or just sneaking glances like me. I look down at my desk, feeling my cheeks blush a light pink. I try to focus on what the teacher is saying but i couldnt, I had this burning desire to look at her. "If you like i can walk you to your next class, i only have art so the teacher wont mind if im late." Alice suggest and i finally glance at her like i had wanted to. "Thanks and i have art too anyway." I say giving her a small smile which she returns.

The bell rings soon after that and we walk to art together. Alice sits next to a beautiful blonde who is also a vegetarian vampire, i wonder how many of them there is. "Bella this is my sister rosalie." Alice intoduces but i only get a small smile from the blonde. She probaly hates me already to be honest, alot of people are wary of me, because to vampires i do not appear human but i have alot of human qualities and to humans they just sense something wrong about me. And i am wrong, completly wrong. Not meant to exist. Vampires and Werewolves are meant to be enemies, not lovers, and theyre definitely not meant to have children.

Art goes by quite fast because i spent the whole time talking to ALice, telling her about Denali even though it had actually been years since i lived there. She mentionened 'cousins' that lived there and i knew who they were but i didnt tell her that. Tanya, Kate, Irina, Carmin and Elezar, an old friend of mine from the Volturi. Alice walks me to Calculus and then goes to her own class, which saddens me for some reason. I get stuck sitting next to the baby faced boy from English. "Hi im Mike." He says. "Bella." i mutter, not botherng to try to hide my annoyance. I hear Zaire snicker from the back of the room which i ignore. When the bell rings i am the first out the door and find Alice waiting for me, luckily we had Spanish together or shed be late.

The teacher greets me in Spanish and i just nod. "Not too good at spanish?" Alice asks. "I only know little but i can speak Italian quite fluently because i learnt it at my last school." I lie. I had leant Italian in my time in Italy with the Volturi. "Why didnt you take Italian then?" SHe aks with a small laugh. Her laughs as beautiful as her. "Zaire chose our classes and my dad said we have to be in the same classes." I explain. "Do you have any other siblings?" She questions and i tell her about Tux, Haven and even Felix which manages to take up the whole of spanish.

Alice invites me and my family to sit with her and her family which i accept, Tux and Zaire join me but Haven chooses to sit with her friends. "Guys, this is Bella, Zaire and Tux. Edward, Emmett and Rosalie and im Alice." Alice says pointing to everyone as she says their name. Theres a chorus of heys and hellos and then everybody engages in seperate conversations except me and Alice, we just stare at eachother. I dont know how long we stare but we dont stop until someone clears their throat. "Stop staring Bella!" Emmett laughs his booming laugh and i blush. "Dont worry, i dont mind you staring, as long as i can return the favour." Alice whispers in my ear, giving me a wink and i blush even worse. You can sort of say I was saved by the bell because before I can reply the bell rings.

Biology feels like years because Alice isn't in my class and because I was stuck next to mike newton again. But lucky for me when the bell rang Alice was waiting for me so we could walk to gym together. Coach Clapp told us to just run laps and stop every  five minutes fir a short break, not that me and Alice needed it even though we were in front of everyone in the class the whole time. "So um... Do you want to come over to my house this afternoon? I know we only just met but I feel like were already great friends." She asks and I of course accept.
