The next day me and Alice fly to Volterra. Alice made sure to cover up as much as she could because it was sunny in Volterra. When we finally land and get out of the airport there is a car waiting for us to take us to the castle. I snuggle into Alice's side and she whispers comforting words to me. It was killing me not knowing who was dead. I've never tried to bring anyone back to life before, will it work?

When we get to the castle Demitri greets us and we follow him to all the injured people. "Demitri, please tell me, who's d- dead?" I ask warily. "Jane." He says, pain showing in his voice. Jane? Not Jane. She was my best friend, we spent all our time together. "Where is she?" I ask and he leads me to her. The only way to kill a vampire is ripping their limbs off and burning them but Jane was in one piece? "Were not sure what happened, they weren't vampire or werewolves, they were something else completely and managed to injure everyone and kill Jane without burning her body.

I knelt down next to her lifeless body, somehow colder than normal. My face was wet with tears as I held her limp hands in my own. I knew it was pointless but I tried to use my healing powers to bring her back. After fifteen minutes it seemed to not be working and I'm about to give up but Jane's eyes flutter open  and she looks around confused. I hug her and squeeze as tight as I can. "Was I dead?" she asks and I nod.

*~*~*~*

My power makes me weak after healing 3 people and bringing someone back to life made me feel so weak, the weakest I've ever felt. But I still carried on to heal the rest of the Volturi, no matter how much I was pushing myself. I started with the more important people first, so Aro, Marcus and Caius and then their wives and personal guards and then the rest of the guard. By the time I was finished I could barely stand.

Alice carried me back to our room we were staying in before heading home and carefully layed me on the bed. "Thank you." I whispered and she kissed me on the forehead. I noticed her tense up and pull away. "Bella, your nose, its bleeding! And your ears!" She gasped. I wiped my face and sure enough I was bleeding. That exactly what I needed while in a castle full of vampires. "Call Carlisle." I said but it came out as a whisper.

As Alice was on the phone to Carlisle she was trying to top my ears bleeding as I held my nose. The conversation was short and I heard Carlisle say he had no idea what to do and I knew I was doomed. The bleeding wasn't slowing down at all. I turned away from Alice and threw up blood all over the floor next to the bed. There's blood everywhere.

There's a knock on the door and Aro and Jane enter. "Bella? Are you okay?" Jane gasps before rushing to my side. "We smelt blood so we came to investigate." Aro says. "We got back here and I layed Bella down and her nose and ears just started bleeding out of nowhere." Alice explains as she intertwines her hand with my free hand. "This explains why everyone down stairs is going mad, they haven't fed in days and Bella's blood is probably the nicest they've ever smelt. For Bella's safety I think you guys need to leave." Aro says and Alice agrees.

Its night time so Alice doesn't have to worry about the sun making her sparkle. She carries me as she runs through the woods far away from the castle so the Volturi wouldn't be able to smell my blood anymore. I don't know if we've been running for minutes or hours but it felt like a long time. Everything felt like it was going really slow even though we were moving faster than the speed of light. She soon stops and sits against a tree, me laying in her lap. "I'm sorry Alice, I know I smell really good." I whisper and she kisses my fore head. "I love you Bella." Alice whispers. "I love you Alice." And then everything goes black.

*~*Alice's POV*~*

The next day Aro arranged for us to get a private plane home. Bella still hadn't woken. I'm worried, I have no idea what's going on with her, I don't think anyone does. What if she doesn't wake up? What if she's in pain? I feel useless, there's absolutely nothing I can do. I can't see her future so I have no idea what's going to happen. What if the things that went after the Volturi come after us? After Bella?

I haven't moved from the arm chair next to her bed since we got home. Everyone was in here when we first arrived but they all left. I'm so lost in thought that I don't hear Esme enter the room. "Alice honey, I think you should go hunt, your eyes are pitch black and having to smell Bella's blood for so long probably didn't help." She pleads. "I can't, what if something happens while I'm gone? What if she dies Esme?!" I shout and regret it when I see Eames hurt face. "Sorry Esme, I didn't mean to yell at you, I'm just on edge." I apologise and she nods in understanding. Esme hugs me before leaving the room.

Her nose and ears stopped bleeding not long after she fell asleep but since then it's started bleeding again twice. "Bella, I love you. We all do. Please wake up." I kiss her forehead before jumping out the window to quickly go hunt. I catch a  mountain lion and an elk. I'm still not fully satisfied but I needed to hurry back.

When I get back Bella is still the same. Her usually rapid heartbeat is now much slower, the same as a human. It seems to be getting weaker and weaker and there's nothing anyone can do. When her heart beat is so slow it's almost not beating everyone enters the room. She's going to die. This is it. After a few moments her nose and ears bleed one more time and then the room goes silent. Her heart stops.
