A Dangerous Encounter

I sat in between the two boys. I can tell Carl was getting jealous of the fact that I'm sitting next to a boy that he barely knows.

I introduce Carl to Gabe and tell him his story and how we met.

The night went on and soon everyone went home.

"Come on AJ its getting late we have to go. Night Carl and Gabe see you guys tomorrow." I said and stood up and grabbed AJ off Carl's lap.

"You want me to take you home sweetheart?" Carl asked.

I turned around in Carl's direction and looked at Gabe. He looked as if he lost something.

"Sure Carl. Well nice to get to know you Gabe and have a nice night." I said with a smile.

We walked home in the moon shining it's light to guide us down the dark dim road. We walk with our hands together and our fingers intertwined. We finally made it to my house and he gave me a goodbye and goodnight kiss.

I smiled as did he and I went into my home with AJ. The toddler yawned so I put him in our room and I took a shower and changed my cloths and went to bed alongside him.

I woke up and AJ was gone. I had a mini panic attack. I rushed downstairs and found him in his high chair with Javier feeding him some oatmeal.

"Morning Clementine." Javier said.

"Morning." I said.

"I thought it would be a good idea to let you sleep in while I take care of AJ also I heard that your going on a run with Gabe and Carl today so it's best for you to get some rest." He said.

"Thanks Javi." I said.

"My pleasure." Javier said.

I went upstairs to go freshen up. And I went straight back downstairs and out the door. I run down the road to the front gate where everyone was.

When I got there Rick told us what we need to get for a specific reason and anything that is useful. We were handed backpacks and a gun and also a survival knife.

Me, Carl, and Gabe went outside the gates of Alexandria and we were on our way. I spotted this wear house and we all ran straight there.

We went inside and found the wear house mostly empty but every bit counts. Gave took the aisles Carl took the shelves and I got the counters and doors.

While I was searching I found a few stuff. Then I heard this noise. It sounded like it was coming from the back of the building. But I didn't bother just might be Carl or Gabe.

Then I heard a gun click behind me. And I turned around and looked at the people. My mind is filled with anger and rage.
