Richmond Part 2

We walk into Richmond but all eyes were on me. As we walk in everyone was in awe and I see familiar places.

Like the clinic, the church building where the leaders meet, the quarantine where they check people if they want to be part of Richmond but in this case we have business here, then I see David's house, and I saw where they are keeping AJ.

"Now I heard this situation of yours is serious and in sure you wouldn't want to see the rest of the town, so follow me so we can talk in private." David said as we walk to the church building.

We walk in and I see some all to familiar faces. I see Jone and Dr. Linguard. I guess the other leader is taking care of his plants.

"Hello David, I hope your crew has settled things outside the gate this morning?" Joan asked.

"Yes things were handled but apparently the situation at the gate was urgent so right now as I promised we will discuss the matter and help anyway we can." David explained.

We all sat down and David introduced us. When David introduced me everyone was puzzled.

"Clementine, I thought you were done here after what happened." Joan said.

"Well, I'm here now and don't start with me we have business here" I said.

"Well in that case, Rick was it? Can you explain the situation please?" David asked.

"Well, one of our members were taken by people named Mike, Bonnie, and Arvo. The member was close with one of our members that is in this room and we demand justice. We found out that the people who took him are in this community with the help of the leader of Prescott and Clementine so all we ask of you is to bring those who were part of this here so we can have our justice and give back our member." Rick explained.

"Well, Rick its not that simple, we had to take that boy away, he would've died with her and its best to keep him here and she knows why we have to do this" Joan said.

"What do you mean he would've died, he was safe with her and safe inside our walls, we've seen how hard she tries to keep him safe and with our help he wouldn't die, so you can't tell her she's not allowed to take care of him, you can't tell her she's not doing her best, she has gone through a lot and lost to much to let this slide." Javier said in a defensive voice.

"Is this just because she's a child herself? If so your wrong, I've seen her take care of herself better than anyone else and to us we treat her with respect and we will take him back with any means necessarily." Michonne stated.

"Well, Clementine since you play a big role in this please tell us why should we give you the child back unless David can vouch for you." Joan said.

"I have nothing to say, my group basically did that for me but if I have to say something I will" I started.

"Just because I didn't follow your rules, just because I tried to keep him alive, just because I wanted him safe doesn't give you any reason to take him away from me. He is the only one I would keep safe, I would do anything to get him back unharmed, plus if is mother was here she would do the same. This is not what I promised his mother and his father, I promised to be part of his life until I died, she wouldn't want this. A man made a promise to himself to keep me safe until he.... I just want him back, please...." I said.

"Well, I'm sorry for the pain I've caused you but like I said its not that easy either someone will vouch on your behalf, you'll be out of here empty handed or you'll have to give us something in exchange for him" Joan said.

"So your gambling with a child's life in exchange for something else? That's low for a woman." Michonne said.

"Its necessary, just because I'm a woman doesn't mean much, I'm a leader here I should act like one. Now if nothing else is going to be said, its best you leave." she said.

We headed to the door, when the door sprung open and revealed David's partner.

"Ava what are you doing here?" David asked.

"Well I was walking to the church when I heard the argument, Jone said Clementine needed someone to vouch for her so that's what I did." Ava said as someone came through the door.

"When I heard that name I didn't believe it and I thought she was gone I guess I was wrong." a woman said going through the crowd revealing her dark brown hair, brown eyes, and pale white skin.

"Lily?" I said.

"I.... I thought.... When you shot Carly and we left you, we thought you didn't make it." I said.

"Well, I'm here now and here to vouch for you and Ava will do the same." she said as she approached Jone.

"Ava you first" Joan said.

"Well remember when we took him before, we only did that because she escaped with him. Well now its way worse, you have no reason to do this, when I met her she thought I was a threat to her and AJ, she did what was necessary then when I invited her here she took that as a opportunity to get AJ food and help. She deserves him as much as we do." Ava stated.

"Now Lily." she said.

"Well since I haven't gotten to know Clem for the time I had with her I could tell that what Lee taught her, he taught her not to give up until your last dying breath. Lee helped me when my dad had a heart attack but Kenny had to put him out, now I understood why and Clem was in the same room when that happened she watched but she was young but also watched Lee help someone. Now that I'm hearing that the child she was taking care of has been taken away I would do anything and everything to help her." Lily said.

"Well in that case bring AJ to the gate unharmed and let this group go free." Dr. Linguard demanded.
