Creeping in
Slowly
And silently
Draining you of confidence
Like the dry leaves
Blown away by the autumn winds...
There it takes over
Drawing in darkness
And isolation
Even under the moonlit sky..
And when you choose passiveness,
It is loneliness that takes you
Away from you
Killing every bit of you
Behind locked doors and sealed windows
Residing in your salty tears
It is loneliness
That ultimately changes you..
