I skip up to a pinnacle. Crimson, armour clad, is perched on top, mumbling something under her breath.
She notices me and her eyes glow a slight silver.

"Seven. Seven human souls, and we can finally show humanity the pain and suffering we have endured."

"Six. That how many souls we have so far. With your soul, Asgore can break the barrier and set us all free."

"However, as it is customary for people who make it this far, I will tell you the tragic tale of our people."

I continue staring at her, interested. I would like to know how the monsters got down here in the first place. If you're gonna start a war, you need to know what you're fighting for.

Crimson grows quiet for a moment, as if in thought.

"...No, you know what?"

Wait...what...?

"SCREW IT!"

Her wings spread out fully. The light is getting brighter.

"WHY SHOULD I TELL YOU THAT STORY WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT TO DIE! NYAAAAAAAH!!!" She continued yelling.

I'm blinded by a flash of light for a split second, and open my eyes again to see Crimson in front of me, her helmet removed. She has red (or should I say Crimson?) hair covering her right eye and pale grey skin. Two yellow horns stick out of her hair. The silver eyes contort to a dark green. She walks forward, eyes glaring and wings open.

I'm unable to run.

"Sam's history books made me think humans were cool! With their pocket monsters and flowery swordswomen..."
I look at her confused. What kind of history books was she reading?

"BUT YOU! You're a coward! Saving your friend so you could just run away from me again! And let's not forget your stupid goody-two-shoes crap!"

She start mocking my tone of voice, and her hair slightly poofs up to mimic my hairstyle.

"Ooh! I'm making such a difference by hugging random strangers!"

Crimson's eyes turn, well, crimson, as she snaps "...NOT!"

"You know what would be better? If you were dead! That's right human! Your continued existence is a crime! You're standing in the way of our freedom!"

She laughs sadistically.

"Hahaha! Now human, prepare to die! I'll show you how determined monsters can be! Step forward when you're ready!"

She points at me, waiting for me to make my move.

My blonde hair gets blown into my face by a strong gust of wind, and I brush it aside with a hand.

"The wind is howling..." Luke comments in my head.

I'm filled with determination.

I accidentally trip over a rock.

"Okay! No holding back!" Crimson yells enthusiastically.

She pulls out a spear and runs towards me head on. Her grin turns to a sinister smile.

"HERE I COME!!!"
"WAIT I WASN'T READY!!" I scream.
