I gasp as I awake, clutching my head in pain. Strangely, I feel no blood run down it despite the long plunge I just took...oh my Verbena I just fell down the mountain! And I survived! I...I can't believe this!

I use what remains of my strength to shakily bring myself up into a sitting position. As my vision focuses, something fades into my view….it looks like-

"Hey, are you alright, Purple Hood? Here, get up." A strange voice suddenly comments, before outstretching a red-tinted arm towards me. Looking up, I recognise the strange figure as a boy - a human boy. I hesitate for a moment, before accepting his gesture and pulling myself up.

"Thanks. Uh...where am I? And who are you?" I ask, before the strange boy winks and bows.

"The name's Lukas, but you can just call me Luke. And you would be..?" He asks, raising his head to look back up at me.

"Uh...it's...Tyler." I shyly respond, blushing a little. That's the first time in a while that I've introduced myself in that way...but somehow, this stranger makes me feel comfortable enough to say it.

"About your other question, though...we're in the Ruins, I think...although it has been a few years since I've last been here. It seems...quiet." He ponders, playing with his brown hair by coiling it around his finger. "Hey, what day is it today?"

"Uh, Saturday? Why?" I question, before Luke suddenly lights up.

"Oh, that's perfect! That means that Mum will be coming through here today!" He exclaims, and I raise an eyebrow.

"Mum?"

"Oh yeah, Toriel's great once you get to know her! She'll be able to answer all of your questions!" He raves, as he grabs me by the arm and starts dragging me into the next room before I can refuse.

Eventually, I'm met with another bed of golden flowers, like the ones I landed in. I look around, and shrug, before making my way across the room. However, as I crunch onto the flowerbed, I'm interrupted by another unfamiliar voice.

"HEY! YOU NEARLY STEPPED ON ME!" It screams out, and me and Luke look around, trying to find where it came from.
