New Year's Eve.

It was new year's Eve and LaTrell was throwing a new year's party. Since I wasn't feeling good the day after Christmas I just brought the stuff I didn't get to use for my dinner I gave to him.

Every since Christmas I been receiving strange calls and messages from an unknown caller . Which is getting really annoying. Like don't they have other things that they childish ass could be doing? Cause I know I do .

Im currently working . I'm a bartender . Yes I gotta deal with thirsty niggas starring all in my damn face for who knows how long . I had to be a work for 12p . It was 11:37a. I put on my airbrushed shirt I had made That had Tiny's written on an white T-shirt and a pair of rip black jeans with my white AF1's and was off to work .

I hadn't been at work that long an niggas was already starring at me. "The usual Rah" my daily customer said to me before pointing his attention back to the football game that was playing on the TV. I replied with an short 'K' . I brought him his drink and collected my money then going to tend someone else .

"Aye yo Rah Rah " I already knew who that was based off what name they used to get my attention.

"Was happening partna' " I gave Jaylen an hand shake. See Jaylen is like an big brother to me besides Ray . He helped me when I was at my lowest points when Ray was visiting Jahkeem an I had no one.

"You straight dawg?" He looked depressed . Some was way off , he wasnt actin goofy and that was unusual.

He just game me an look an I already knew what was up. "Hol' up ima be right back". I went to go handle the people who recently popped up.

" Here bro " I handed him an cup that I made for him. "Baby moms?". He nodded. Jay and his baby mama has been off an on their entire relationship and it hasn't even gotta any better since his daughter was born .

"Alright whats going on" I sat down ready to listen to Jay and Nae problems.

"Alright so you remember when Nae used to up and leave when she got an call or a text ?" I nodded and motioned for him to continue.

"Turns out she been running to a nigga the whole time . Cheating and shit right in my face . " He explained.

" I thought you said she changed" I questioned. She promised everyone that she'll change for the grace of her unborn child or karreunna (kar-re-unna). But as we can see , she ain't keep her promise.

"And that's not the half of the bullshit " he spoke once again. I was confused . There was more ?I'm not gone lie , Nae was pretty cool and laid back but the shit she be tryna pull be foul.

"What you mean not the half of the bullshit?" I raised my eyebrow . There couldn't be more right?.

"You ain't finna believe this but-" he was cut off my one of my daily customer called

"Hold that thought" I went to get what the female wanted and headed back to Jay. "Continue"

"She stepped out of out of relationship 4 years ago" I was confused even more .

"What does that have to do with right now?". I asked

"Listen girl  "

"But like I was saying she stepped out of our relationship right before she was pregnant with yannah " yannah was the nickname we , what I mean by we is me and Jay picked out .

"You telling me .." I started but didn't finish because she was already nodding.

"Yeah she might not be mine Rah rah.." he managed to get out before he broke down. I can't imagine the pain he feeling  right now. He been raising yannah since she was born. An now she might not even be his. If she's not that's finna break him . The bond they shared was strong. Seeing them together would make anyone smile . An that's on everything. Karreunna made him an better person inside and out .
