A week later

Today we will be starting our first day at University.

I got dressed in my gray scrubs and a pair of gray converse . I pulled my hair into a pony tail and did my edges . I decided on not to wear any makeup.

I went to grab a juice and a apple before heading off to the school to meet khy there.

Everything has been cool on my side but I really can't say for LaTrell and Trav. I haven't heard from them two since we got accepted into the college. I would get an goodmorrning or a goodnight from Trell but that's about it. When I try reaching out to him it go straight to voicemail, or he'll answer then rush me off ,or lastly he'll say he will call me back but I seem to never seem to get one. He might just need his space and I was going to give him just that.

I pulled up in the school  parking lot and saw Khy sitting on a bench waiting on me .

We decided to Twin today and we have the same classes so why not?.

"Hey khy khy" I gave her a hug .

"Took you long enough" she said gathering her things. "Let's go I'm so excited" she told me while giving me an bright smile, a smile that went missing a couple months ago.

We made it to our first class sitting next to each other having small talk until the teacher walked in starting the class.

"Welcome back students hope you all had an wonderful weekend and for those who is just starting I'm Mrs.Stevenson and welcome to university " I could already tell that this was going to be that teacher. This was one of the many hair classes that we was going to take since this was an hair and cosmetics school.

"We are gonna start off easy" she started to pass out mannequin heads to to the class "I want everyone to scalp braid a hair style you have 45 minutes, you may begin"

That class went by slow considering that she kept fussing when someone dropped a comb or something like teacher chill.

It was 4:45p and I was heading to my last class with Khy hot on my heels.

We arrived a little bit before class started . When Trav facetimed her .Trell and I  have  been getting kinda serious. Like he'll kiss all on me and try to have sex with me. He'll tell people that I'm not single or that I'm His girl but yet he still hasn't asked me to be in a relationship with him. I really don't know now that I think about it, what am I to him?

"Hey babe" khy said into her phone. I missed some shit , when did they become a 'thing' ?

"Wassuu baby, you how was school" I looked over in her camera an saw that he was driving somewhere. Why can't Trell just up an FaceTime me?

"I'm still at school, this is my last class though but it was great" she smiled.

"Where Rah at?" She pointed her camera towards me.

"Hey Trav" I gave him a short smile and a wave.

They talked for a few more minutes before they had end their call due to the fact that the class started to pile up with students.

"OK class settle down, I'm Mr. Black but call me Chase, and today we are going to be participating our eyeshadow blending skills" Is that my male bestie?

"Here go your pallette keep up with it cause this is all I'm paying for, lose it buy another one boo" I was looking at the pallette when my pocket vibrated .

I looked at her to see that she had her thumbs up smiling hard. I wasn't the only one who thought that.

The class passed by quicker than I thought. I was hungry though.

"Aye best I'm finna go see Trav before I head home I love you" she gave me a hug. "I love you too" I got in my car checking to see if I had any missed calls from Trell but I didn't. I even checked to see if I had mistakenly blocked him , nope didn't do that either he just hasn't been hitting me up lately.

I went to subway and ordered me an foot long chicken bacon and ranch but without the ranch , sun chips , chocolate chip cookies, and a hi-c fruit punch.

Once I got home there was a car parked in my driveway that I didn't recognize. So I went to a park and ate my food . As I watch as the little kids ran around playing it made me sad that I didn't have my own. I stayed for about 15 more minutes before heading back home.

Once I arrive the same car was still in my driveway. I tried Calling LaTrell but he forwarded my call. so I pulled up Infront of my garage since my Tahoe was parked inside if it. I gathered all my things before getting out. I made my way to my door without making eye contact with whomever was driving that black Challenger. When my door finally open the car door opened and they got out heading towards me.

I frantically grabbed all my bags that was sitting beside my door trying to put them inside my house along with myself but he grabbed my arm.

"Hey! Let me go!" I yelled yanking my arm back. Once I got an good look it was Ant. How did he find my home?

"A little feisty I likes that" he said licking his lips. That used to turn me on but it just made me sick to my stomach.

"What do you want Antonio?" I stepped in my house closing the door putting the chain back on and opening it back.

"I want you, and you not gonna invite me in? Im so hurt." He put his hand over his heart causing me to roll my eyes.

"No can you leave?" I asked nicely.

"See I will but I think this belongs to its rightful owner" he handed me an sealed envelope. " My number is in there as well." He walked back to his car and left.

I put the envelope on the couch and went to take a shower. Once I was finish I went to open the envelope but I had but on gloves First, it ain't no telling what chemicals he could have put on it. When I pulled what was in it out my heart started aching and tears started to fall. I don't even know why I was crying we wasn't even in a relationship. I think what I was hurt  by was the fact that he lead me on thinking that I had a permanent spot in his life. As I could tell by these photos of him with another female that I was wrong and that's why he hasn't been answering my calls or texts. I put the pictures in the closet so I can go to bed early because I had school and work tomorrow morning.

When I made it to my bed I couldn't go to sleep . I sat there till 9:30p thinkin 'why did i give him my time when all these other dudes cross my path? Why did I continue to call back, text back or even went out with him?' All of my questions started with why. I just couldn't understand. Was I not pretty enough? Was my ass too little? Was my breast too small ? Am I not his type? All of these questions roamed through  my head until I finally feel asleep.
