(Ok, so everyone knows what happened during the Jack the Ripper case, so I thought it'd be fun to see what the servants were up to while Ciel and Sebastian were gone. I'll probably do the same when Prince Soma and Agni come in, if I put them in this book. As much as I love them both, I think a change of pace is nice for a story.)

Jill stood off to the side at the top of the stairs while Sebastian and the other servants carried the luggage downstairs and left them in the main hall for the young masters trip to London.

"You are sure you will be alright left alone with this..." Ciel asked, standing beside her, pausing as he watched Mey-Rin trip over a suitcase and making Sebastian sigh, "lot?"

"I thank you for your concern, Young Master," Jill smiled as she put a hand to her heart and bowed her head, "but I can handle things. Besides, I think a break from your studies and these three will do you and Sebastian some good."

"I think you may be right about that," Ciel smiled lightly, although it did not reach his eyes.

Ciel had stopped wearing his eye patch since yesterday. Although, he was not very happy when he found out of the reason he no longer needed to wear it any longer.

"Sebastian!" Ciel's voice rang out in the middle of the night, almost waking the entire household. He had up in the middle of the night for a drink of water when he had caught his reflection in the mirror.

"Yes, Young Master?" Sebastian asked as he entered Ciel's bathroom almost immediately.

"Would you mind," Ciel said, still facing the mirror, before turning to face his tall butler, "explaining this?" He pointed to his right eye, where his contract symbol used to be, but was now an exact match to his left eye.

"I thought it would be obvious, My Lord. The contract symbol does take a few days to ware off," Sebastian explained, with a raised brow.

"Why is it gone in the first place? Do you no longer wish to complete it?" Ciel asked, both angry and confused.

Sebastian looked down at the young boy in his own confusion when realization came to him.

"It would seem Lady Jill has deceived my trust,"  Sebastian half smiled, almost feeling admiration for the young woman having tricked him.

In a few moments, Sebastian had Jill in Ciel's bedroom on her knees in front of his bed. Since it was the middle of the night, she was in her nightgown, but she had put a robe on over it and ballet slippers to cover her feet.

Sebastian had explained what had happened a few days ago since Ciel was too mad at Jill to let her explain. He stood behind her near the wall, his hands behind his back as he looked down at her.

"Well," Ciel said, sitting atop his bed, after accessing the situation, "what do you have to say for yourself?"

"I do not regret what I did, nor will I take it back," Jill replied, her back straight as she stared straight forward.

Ciel sneered at her in anger before turning his attention to Sebastian and asking, "Can you not just reverse it back?"

"Unfortunately, I can not do that unless she agrees," Sebastian replied, gesturing his head toward Jill, "but I highly doubt she will if she was willing to trade her soul in the first place. Besides, I have grown rather fond of the idea of consuming her soul in your place."

Ciel sneered at Sebastian now as the dark demon smiled wickedly.

"May I ask as to why you decided to take my butler?" Ciel questioned.
