"What should I get for my secret Santa, Annie?"

She shrugged. "That depends on who it is"

I squared my jaw "I'm not telling you"

She shrugged again "Ok, I don't care"

Ugh. This I'd driving me crazy. Who is her secret Santa?

"Did you get your secret Santa something yet?" I asked her

  "Nope"

Aw crap.

  "What are you getting them?"

"What I'm getting him is none of your business"

"Ha! so you admit that it's a him! I got you!"

She chuckled "Yah, because there are so little boys in our class"

"Yeah, well, it narrows it down" I stuck my tongue out

"Ugh, I'm hungry, make me food Marcel"

I gave her the wild eye

  "What?!"

  "Make me food"

  "Why?"

  "Because I'm hungry"

  "So?"

"And because I'm your bestest friend ever, remember?"

I walked from her living room to her kitchen

  "What do you want?"

  "Anything really" she yelled back

"You better be lucky you're wonderful, or I wouldn't do this"

  "Thanks, baby"

"I deserve more than a thank you, Taylor-Ann"

She ran into the kitchen and kissed my cheek.

  "How about that?"

  "I'd say that would suffice"

She giggled and kissed me again, before saying

"I like a man in the kitchen"

  "Then you'll love me"

She laughed and so did I, but deep inside I did hope she'd love me for real.
