Taylor-Ann's POV
Fast-forward to last day before Christmas vacation
"Taylor-Ann, place your gift in the bowl"
I put my gift in the bowl and waited for everyone else to do the same.
"Alright now um...Arabella, come on up. Take your gift and present it to us."
Arabella waltzed up to the bowl and looked for the one with her name on it. When she found it, she sneered.
"What is this?" She asked with disgust
"A card" Keith told her
"No, this is ridiculous" she replied "Ugh" and sat down
"Troy, c'mon up" it was really a drag seeing all these people with they'd gifts until Ms. Mason called
"Marcel, come on up"
I sat up straight, as did the others, eager to see what Marcel thought of his gift.
When he finally pulled his present from the bowl, he studied it quizzically as if surprise he had actually gotten anything.
"Just open it Marcy!" Arabella shouted, making him look up as if he had done something wrong.
"Hush Arabella," I told her "take your time" I told him
He slowly peeled open the wrapping paper and went wide eyed at the gift.
"What is it?"
"It's a heart, carved out of conglomerate. My favorite rock" he looked closer "it says 'ME+ YOU=..."
"Equals what, Marceline?"
"TRUE LOVE"
The entire class gasped as Marcel blushed a lovely scarlet.
"There's a note Marceline!"
Keith pointed out "It probably says 'J/K Not really' "
Marcel read the note and said "Who did this?"
"Secret Santa, geek" Bella said
"Read the note, Marcel" Ms. Mason said
"Yeah, read it Marcy!"
He swallowed and read:
"Dear Marcel,
Hi, Marcel. Um, I have something really important to say to you.
I've known you for awhile and see things about you no one else has and...I just can't get enough of you.
You're smart, cute, and funny. The whole package, and I'm crazy about you.
Now before I embarrass myself, I need to let you know, even though you'll probably never feel the same but, Marcel Styles... You are amazing and... I love you."
