the next morning, the smile on my face was real. nate really made me happy and to find out he liked me too, made me me even more happy. i happily got dressed and did my makeup.

i woke up benjy without a problem. i slid on my shoes and grabbed my keys, benjy and i walking downstairs and out the door. i drove him to his school walking him in giving him a kiss on the forehead.

"have a good day, benjy, i love you." he smiled saying it back and skipping off. i drove up to my school walking in. spotting the boys i walked up to them and sat in between derek and nate.

"morning, mami, you looking fine as fuck!" derek yelled, making me blush. nate pulled me closer to him.

"dont." nate said, his jaw clenching.

"just stating facts." nate rolled his eyes, derek did so too. i silently grinned, nate growled.

"keep the facts to yourself, pretty boy." nate said pissing derek off, i quietly chuckled.

"okay chill the fuck out!" derek shouted back, i grabbed a hold on nate's hand but doing it secretly so derek wouldnt see.

"its okay," i assured softly. "its okay." i rubbed circles on nate's hand, he let out a breath. he turned and looked at me, we went to our classes.

nate kept looking at me with those eyes. and it made me smile everytime.

"if ya'll is gonna eye fuck each other, please go somewhere else and do it." swazz complained, i chuckled and worked on my paper. nate looked at swazz.

"dont start with me, john. you always stare at her." swazz shrugged.

"sorry not sorry." i chuckled and finished my paper, i took it up to him he smiled at me before i sat down. nate looked at me again before finishing his work.

"just find someone else to look at." nate told swazz before handing in his work. i laughed playing on my phone.

i looked at nate and smiled widely. he noticed me smiling and smiled right back, my stomach fluttered with butterflies. my hands slightly shook while swazz focused on his work. i looked around the room for once not feeling lonely.

swazz got up to turn in his work, nate scooted over in swazz's seat and looked at me. i smiled and blushed only to cause him to keep his smile and work on his paper. i was finishing up mine when i got up and felt nate grab my hand.

"hold on." he finished writing and walked behind me turning his paper in after me. after sitting down and playing on my phone i felt his hand rest on my thigh, i looked up.

"are you comfortable with that?" he asked, i nodded and held his hand while it laid on my thigh. i laid my head on nate's shoulder still playing on my phone.

"i'm tired." i spoke quietly.

"me too." he yawned, wrapping his arm around my shoulder, i continued to play on my phone until the bell rang. nate and i walked together in the hallway earning some glances from people. at this point i didnt mind because i looked really cute today.

"maybe we can hangout later?" nate suggested, i nodded.

"definitely, bring snacks cause benjy will get hungry." he nodded chuckling.

"okay, what kind?" he asked, i shrugged.

"benjy eats just about everything so it don't matter." he nodded and walked me to my class. a few boys turned around to me and smiled. i waved, the one turned fully around and started talking to me.

"you're cute, what's your name?" he asked, and i almost panicked.

"kassidy." i answered.

"i'm ryan." i smiled and waved. what would nate think of this?

"nice to meet you." i said, he nodded.

"you hang around nate don't you?" i nodded, why would he ask that?

"yeah, why?" i asked, he looked at his friends and grinned.

"nate's not the one for you, baby." i stayed silent.

"nate's my friend." he scoffed.

"please we all know there's more to the story. just know he aint the one for you. he'll use you." he then turned around and left me in my thoughts. lunch time rolled around and i met up with the boys with so much thoughts running through my head.

"hey, babe." nate said kissing my cheek.

"hi." i spoke with a small smile.

"ooo, look at them two go!" johnson called and i sat down at the table laughing.

"now i see why he got so mad at me." derek said rolling his eyes and side hugging me.

"oh hush, derek." i said playfully pushing him, he smiled at me and nate pulled me closer towards him.

"stay far from my girl, luh." derek put his hands up.

"we're on friendly terms damn." derek rolled his eyes, i dont see why nate's so protective of me we're not together.

"thats what happens when youre whipped." gilinsky said and i rolled my eyes.

"guys quiet." i said and they ooed.

"big bad kassidy coming at ya'll." derek said and i laughed. they always know how to make my day.

"so like us now?" john asked and i nodded.

"i mean yeah i like ya'll its nice having guy friends that wont stab you in the back like pathetic girls." they nodded and smiled.

"got me there." johnson said, just then madison came up to me.

"well look whos all big and bad sitting with my boys." she said and i rolled my eyes.

"sweetie, these are my boys thank you. fuck outta my face." she scoffed, she was really testing my nerves.

"madison dont start witcho nine year old ass." derek said and i laughed along with nate. madison turned to nate.

"don't think youre something too nathan. just because shes so hooked to your side." i stood up and pushed her back as hard as i could.

"don't ever talk to my boy like that again or so help me god i'll fuck you up." there was ooohs from the table and i smirked.

"just because youre in with the big crowd wont change the fact that youre still not shit." i huffed, pulling her close to me getting in her face.

"don't ever think for one fucking second i wont beat your ass. talk to my boys or me like that again and i'll kill you." i pushed her back again as she ran away, the boys clapped and nate pulled me close.

"dont ever let that lil bih try you, baby." i kissed his cheek again.

"i definitely wont." i smiled.
