OH AND IT'S SATURDAY! SAMMY REALLY WANTS TO KILL ME NOW FOR HORRIBLE SINGING AT 2 IN THE MORNING! Enjoy the chapter!

Robin's POV

We each were allowed 1 thing that wasn't needed for survival. I took two, but only because my book would be useless without my coal. In my backpack, I crammed my notebook in, along with food, water, and sleeping stuff. Let me explain.

Flashback

"Daniel! New army! All kids like us! Take a look!" Catie yelled, her face bright red from the run. Daniel carefully made his way through all of us, took the paper from Catie, and looked it over. I was perched on a really tall bookshelf, where no one could bug me, drawing. My narrow frame only my name suit me even more.

Flashback over

Le time skip to 3 days later.

Once again, I was drawing. Not for fun, but to leave the nightmare of the library. Over the years sense I had gotten my notebook, the coal tip was even sharper and the creations that I drew came to life even more often. The day before we left, Daniel got sick. Not the normal sneeze and it's over, but you vomit with out notice kind of sickness. He gets sick every minute or so, he won't eat, talk or interact with anybody or anything. No food has entered his system, he can't move at all. As in he can barely breathe. Nobody else has gotten sick, and we get food for our selves at night from the market or bakery. "Robin, can you come here?" Ankith asks me in a cracked voice. "Somethings wrong. Daniel-". Ankith breaks down sobbing onto the ground. Instantly I jump from my perch, book tucked safely under my hoodie, and crouched on the floor, rubbing Ankith's back. Somethings wrong, really wrong. Ankith's pretty careful about his emotion's, so for him to be crying in front of me, Daniel's condition could be even worse than it was this morning. "His eyes, his eyes." Ankith chokes out between sobs. I yell for Kayla, and then I run as fast as I can to Daniel. Ankith wasn't kidding, his eyes are bleeding. From the irises. No wonder the others are so scared.
