"Sensei Wu!" Jay yelled, running down the hall. "SENSEI WU!"

"What is it Jay?" Wu said, poking his head out of his room.

"I spilled your special tea leaves-" Jay started to say. "Wait. Is someone in there with you?"

"Melody and I are discussing something," Wu said. "Now what did you say about-"

"You're not yelling at each other though," Jay said, completely ignoring what Wu was trying to ask.

"Maybe it's because we have decided to act like adults," Wu said impatiently.

"Come to think of it," Jay said scratching the stubble on his chin. He suddenly realized that he had forgot to shave that morning. "You two haven't been fighting recently. Did you guys make up? Is she being nice now?!"

"Jay!" Wu said in exasperation.

"Sorry! Don't mean to pry! But it's cool!" Jay said in a grumpy tone.

"Now what about my tea-"

"Nothing! More will be there when you come out," Jay assured. Then he ran off to fix the mess he had made. Wu didn't take kindly to his tea being destroyed.

"Was he always like that?" Melody asked as Wu shut the door again.

"He was much worse when he was younger," Wu said rolling his eyes.

"So like Jason?" She asked, smiling.

"Maybe combine the two and you'll get a clear picture," Wu said in exasperation.

"I think you're just being dramatic," Melody said shaking her head. "As usual."

"Excuse me," Wu said. "A Sensei is never dramatic."

"I'm sure," Melody said rolling her eyes. "I'm sorry I wasn't there to see it. I was so selfish."

"How long did you keep up your bitter facade?" Wu asked pointedly.

Melody seemed a bit taken aback, but then she answered, "I was bitter. It wasn't a facade, but it made me miserable. I finally gave up. I realized that I was only poisoning myself and my relationships. I'm glad it's gone now though. I feel free!"

"This way, Elena," the woman said, beckoning her into a small bedroom.

"What exactly am I going to be doing?" Elena asked. She felt afraid and she didn't know why.

"I'm going to teach you something," the woman sat down on the bed. She patted the spot next to her and Elena sat down.

"What?" The girl asked.

"Do you believe in magic?"

"Yes," the girl nodded.

"Do you believe in elemental powers? I assume you've heard of them?"

"Yes," Elena nodded again.

"Why do you believe in that?" The woman asked.
