Chapter 5

//One week later//
Matt's pov
"Morgan baby wake up you have school today."
"I have what?"
"School baby now get up."
"Ok."
The guys and I decided that Morgan should go to school so that she wouldn't have to go to meetings with us and we don't want her doing online schooling.
I went and started her bath.
"Matt can Shawn give me my bath?"
"Sure. Let me ask him."
I walked out of her room and into the kitchen where Shawn was finishing up breakfast.
"Hey Shawn Morgan wants you to give you her bath I can finish up breakfast." He took his apron off.
"Ok. Just please don't burn the house down."
"Sir yes sir."
Shawn's pov
I walked into the bathroom and saw Morgan in the bath playing with the action figures the guys gave her.
"Good morning sweet cheeks."
She looked up. "Good Morning Shawn." I bent down to her level.
"Morgan why don't you play with your barbies?"
"They aren't as fun."
"Oh ok."
"Shawn will you play transformers with me?"
"Anything for you."
We played for about 10 minutes then I washed her up.
"What do you want to wear sweetie?"
"Actually Shawn Can Carter pick out my outfit?"
"Sure let me go get him."
Carter's pov
"Carter I love you but I have to let you go."
"But Selena I love you."
"Carter I love Justin more."
"Baby please don't go."
"Carter. Carter! CARTER!"
"What?" I looked and saw Shawn standing over me.
"Morgan wants you to pick out her outfit."
"Yay! I get some alone time with my favorite girl!"
"I heard that!" Mahogany screamed from across the hall.
"Sorry!"
"Just hurry up she has school in 30."
"Ok."
I walked into Morgan's room to find her sitting on her bed in a towel.
"Morning monkey ready for your first day of school?"
"I guess."
"Ok well let's find you something to wear."
I picked out a blue and white baseball tee, overalls, and sk8 hi's

I put on her undergarments and then her shirt and so on. She looked in the mirror and smiled.
"Thank you so much Carter I look great!"
"No problem monkey."
Morgan's pov
After Carter left I walked over to daddy's room.
Knock knock
"Come in!"
I walked in and saw dad brushing his teeth.
"Omg baby girl you look so cute. Did you pick out your outfit?"
"No uncle Carter did."
"He has good fashion sense. Anyways baby are you ready for school?"
"I guess." I said looking down.
"What's wrong princess?"
"What if they don't like me?"
"Baby they will love you. Your smart and beautiful."
I kissed his cheek. "Thank you dad."
"Come on baby let's do your hair, eat breakfast and go to school."
//At school//
"Hi welcome to Ocean View Elementary School."
"Hi my name is Cameron and this is my daughter Morgan."
"Hi Morgan my name is Principle Kelly." She said sticking her hand out to me.
"Umm Mrs. Kelly Morgan doesn't really like people touching her or small spaces."
"Oh ok very well then. Let's get you to you locker and then to class."
// In Class//
"Class this is Morgan and she is new here I expect you all to be kind and you all to show her around."
"Hi Morgan!!!" They all screamed at me.
"Hi." I turned to look at my dad.
"Hey princess I have to go Nash is picking you up from school ok?"
"Dad please don't go."
"I'm sorry baby cakes but I have to."
"You promise you will come back?"
"I promise." I gave him a hug
"I love you dad."
"I love you too princess"
And with that he left.
"Well Morgan you can go sit next to Mason. Mason raise your hand please."
This kid with nerd glasses raised his hand. I walked and sat next to him.
"Hi I'm Morgan."
"I-I'm Mason."
"Do you want to be my friend?" He perked up a little.
"Really?"
"Yes really."
"Ok."
//Lunch//
"I forgot to pack my lunch today." Mason said sitting next to me at our table.
"We can share mine."
"Are you sure? I don't want to be a bother."
"It's ok."
As we were eating when a cold substance was poured onto his head. It was chocolate milk.
"Look who it is cry baby Mason and the new girl." This guy named Josh said.
"Why would you do that?!"
"He deserves it."
"What did he ever do to you?"
"He is not like us he is a nerd."
"There is nothing wrong with that."
Just then a girl named Jessica came up behind me and dumped applesauce on me.
"Go back to the orphanage where you came from. That's why your dad doesn't even love you. Wait scratch that he isn't even your dad."
"Yes he is."
"No he is not. Look at you and look at him you both have two different skin colors. He is not your dad you're adopted and you know it."
I couldn't take it anymore. I ran and hid in an old locker and just cried.
The bell rang signaling it was time to go back to class. I didn't go though.
Mason's pov
After Morgan ran away Josh beat me up. I really wished I could have gone after her.
The bell had rang and everyone had  made it back to class. Well except for Morgan. I raised my hand.
"Mrs. S can I use the restroom?"
"Sure take a pass."
I walked in the hallways until I heard faint crying in one of the big lockers.
"Morgan are you in there?"
"Go away."
"It's me Mason."
"Oh you can come in."
I opened the locker and squeezed in. It was quiet for awhile until I spoke.
"You know those things she said about you weren't true."
"No they are right my dad isn't my dad he is just Cameron and I'm adopted."
"Don't say that."
"But its true."
"No it's not now let's get back to class."
I pulled her with me and we both walked back into the class.
//End of school//
Morgan's pov
I was standing outside waiting for Nash to pull up when Mason came up to me.
"Hey Morgan."
"Hey Mason can we be best friends?"
He turned around and did a silent yes! And then turned back around and acted all cool.
"Yeah that's cool or whatever."
I giggled.
"Hey dimples ready to go!" I looked over and saw Nash.
"Yeah one sec." I turned and looked at Mason.
"Thanks for everything today."
"No problem."
"Well see you tomorrow." I ran over to Nash's car. I hopped in and saw Hayes. "Who was that your boyfriend?" He teased.
"No we are just friends."
"Ok?"
//Home//
I walked in the house and saw Matt and Carter watching a movie.
"Hey guys."
"Hey stinker how was school?" "
"Ok I guess."
"You ok?" Matt asked.
"Yeah. Where is Cameron?"
"You mean your dad?" Hayes said.
"Yeah."
"He is upstairs."
"Oh ok well I'm going in my room."
"Ok." They all said.
I walked upstairs and went to my room and just laid down. About 20 minutes later Cameron came in my room.
"Hey princess how was school? Did you make new friends?"
"Yeah his name is Mason."
"No boyfriend until your 60."
"He is not my boyfriend Cameron."
"What did you just call me?"
"Cameron."
"Don't call me by my first name you call me dad." I just rolled my eyes.
"What is wrong with you?"
"Nothing now can you get out Cameron."
"It's dad and no! Not until you tell me what's wrong." I really want aunt Sierra.
"I want to talk to aunt Sierra."
"No. Not until you tell me what's wrong."
"Fine!"
Cameron's pov
"Fine!"
"This girl came up to me and poured applesauce on my head then she tells me to go back to the orphanage And that you don't love me and that you're not even my dad because you have a different skin color. And she is right you're not my dad you're just Cameron." She started crying even more.
I was in shock why would she say that.
"Princess don't listen to them. I'm your dad and you know that I know that and so does everyone else."
"I'm sorry dad."
"It's ok princess now take a nap while dinner is cooking."
"Ok."
I walked into my room and called my mom crying.
Conversation (G=Gina C=Cam)
G: Hey Honey. Wait why are you crying?
C: Mom she called me Cameron today.
G: Who Morgan?
C: Yes.
G: Why?
C: A girl told Morgan I wasn't her dad because we have different skin colors and that I didn't love her and that she needs to go back to the orphanage.
G: Cam honey did you tell her you loved her?
C: Yes.
G: Ok honey now stop crying and call the school about the situation.
C: Ok mom I love you.
G: love you too bye.
End of convo
I called the school and they said they would handle it. I walked down stairs and started watching a movie with the boys until it was time to eat.
I went and woke up Morgan.
"Come on baby it's time to eat."
She got up and we walked downstairs.
"Hey lil' bit how was your day?" Johnson said as Morgan sat down at the table.
"Good I made a new friend."
"What's her name?" Taylor said.
"It's a guy and his name is Mason."
"Wait he is a guy?" Gilinsky said about to choke on his food.
"Yeah we aren't dating either."
"That's right no boyfriends until you're 60." Matt said looking at her from across the table.
"Ok."
We all laughed and then finished dinner.
//Night//
Morgan's pov
It was 11:28 when the thunder started to happen. I hopped out of my bed and walked over to Matt's room.
When I walked in he was sitting up waiting for me.
"Hey little d."
I climbed into his bed.
"Hey. Can I sleep with you?"
"Sure."
I climbed under the covers and laid down next to him and we cuddled. I fell asleep 20 minutes later.
