Morgan's pov
It's been about two weeks since I went to Hannah's softball practice and I've gone to every practice since I met Melody and Jack.

I've been trying to contact Mason but he hasn't been answering my calls or text so I decided I'll go to his house.

When I got to his house his mother was surprised to see me. "Oh hello Morgan what a surprise! What can I help you with?"

"I came to see if Mason's home he hasn't been answering any of my calls or texts." I said fiddling with my hands.

"Umm Mason is not here I believe he left about 30 minutes ago with a friend."

"Oh okay well can you tell him I stopped by?"

"Absolutely sweetie." She said before closing the door.

Since hanging out with Mason failed I decided I would hit Melody up and see if she would come to the mall with me.

"Wassup?!" She said through the phone after picking up almost immediately.

"Can you come to the mall today?!" I asked excitedly knowing she could.

"Of course cutie see you in 10." She said before hanging up.

These past 2 weeks Mel and I have been close lately very close, it's almost as if we've known each other for years.

When I arrived to my house I was surprised to see Aaliyah's car in the driveway. I rushed into the house to see her in the house on the couch crying along with my dad.

"What are you weirdos do-" my sentence was cut off by my dad sushing me.

"Be quiet it's getting to the good part!" He yelled shooing me out of the living room.

I forgot my dad and Aaliyah have a movie night once a month where they watch all the new movies in theaters. They do this to keep their friendship alive since they've gotten companions.

I walked outside to the backyard to find my skateboard because Mel and I would have to skate since nobody can drive us.

"Boo!" Mel yelled while hugging me from behind.

I turned my head to look at her, "Hey cutie."

"You ready to go?" She asked me resting her head on my shoulder.

"Yeah just let me grab my board," I said breaking out of her grip to grab it.

Before we walked out of the house I stopped to tell Hannah that we'd be at the mall just in case she began to worry.

// At the mall //
Mel and I were walking around the mall buying clothes from so many stores I couldn't even keep track.

We were walking into Zumiez when I spotted Mason and a girl looking at matching tees.

"Hey there's Mason should I say hi?" I asked turning to Mel who was behind me looking at beanies.

"Yea-" She stopped mid sentence.

"What's u- Oh my god!" When I turned around I saw Mason and the girl kissing.

My eyes started to tear up. "Did our kiss mean nothing to him?"

"Come on M let's go to a different store for now," Mel said grabbing my hand and pulling me into Forever 21 and taking me into a dressing room.

She pulled me into a hug, "He doesn't deserve you Morgan, not at all."

"It hurts!" My voice muffled in her chest.

"Okay look babe how about we go to your house, grab all of the junk food we can find take it upstairs, build a fort, and watch movies all night? Would you like that?" Mel suggested.

I nodded my head. "Now wipe those tears and hold my hand so we can get out of here." Mel said before pulling me into a tighter hug, grabbing my hand, and walking us out of the mall where our boards were waiting for us.

"Oh Morgan! I thought that was your board!" I heard Mason call from behind us.

I stop dead in my tracks not wanting to look at him. "Morgan?!"

"Sorry. How have you been Mason?" I asked getting myself together.

"I've been well who's your friend?" He asked looking Mel up and down as if she was a threat to our friendship.

I stopped to think only to see the girl he was kissing earlier. "This is Melody my girlfriend. Isn't that right babe?" I said before giving her a peck on the lips.
